Her Life
"For by Him were all things created, that are in Heaven, and that are in Earth ... "Col 1:16.

Cloris Dean Strawter, affectionately known as Dean, was born on February 3, 1968 to the late Rev. Willie J. Harris and the late Ella Mae Paster Harris. Dean was educated in the public school systems of Macon County and Peach County and was a graduate of Peach County High School. Following high school she furthered her education at Fort Valley State University. At an early age she accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior and joined the band of Christian believers at Mount Calvary Baptist Church, Marshallville, Georgia .. Over the years she held employment with Donnie Farms.

Her Leisure
"There is nothing better. For humans than to eat, drink, and experience pleasure in their hard work" Ecclesiastes 2:24.
Dean had a very outgoing personality who thoroughly enjoyed entertaining her family and friends. She had a passion for cooking - anything from "soul" food to Italian recipes. She made sure her husband, "Bay", helped her with the cooking too! Anyone who knew her, knew that she was very outspoken and she didn't mind letting you know where she stood!

Her Love

On February 5, 2016 two hearts became as one as Dean was joined in holy matrimony to the love of her life - Ernest Strawter, Jr. who she affectionately called "Bay" and "Strawter". For the next six and half years, these two peas in a pod shared a bond that only DEATH could separate.

 Her Legacy
"Peace I leave with you ... Let not your hearts be troubled .. " John 14:27.
