Funeral arrangements are scheduled for 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, August 30, 2022, at First Salem Baptist Church, Twin Church Road, Montezuma, Georgia. Interment will follow in Champ Waters Cemetery, Montezuma, Georgia.
Graveside services, including burials, are likely to be held on ground that is uneven, which is out of the control of Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel, Inc. Fontella was born May 8, 1966, to Mattie Louise Redding and the late Jamie Lee Felton, also preceded her in death was her grandmother, Pauline Redding, a brother, Marvin Felton, aunt Sarah Brown, two uncles; James Redding and Willie Redding, and mother–in-law, Norma Williams.
She was a 1984 graduate of the historic D. F. Douglass High School and was a member of New Vision Holiness Church of Montezuma, Georgia.
She was married in February 2010 to her beloved husband, Michael Williams. She was blessed to be the mother of five children which include: Kerry Williamson (Kimberly) Christopher Williamson and Cortez Williamson (Diamond) all of Montezuma, Georgia, Emily Deed, Perry, Georgia and Kentavious Wishop, York City, Pennsylvania; step children, China Lester and Sirmarcus Brown both of Montezuma, Georgia, a loving mother, Mattie Louise Redding, Montezuma, Georgia; four siblings and their spouses, Anthony Redding (Sheila), Marshallville, Georgia, Monica Redding and Alexander Redding both of Montezuma, Georgia and Tonzia Ford (Marcus), Douglasville, Georgia, Pamela Hooten, Dwayne Hooten and Thomas Felton all of Marshallville, Georgia; six grandchildren, Kaitlyn Williamson, Kerrione Felton, Eyonia Smith, Kayden Williamson, Jayden Williamson and Kyeleigh Lewis; two great grands, Kaylee Williamson and Aaliyah Felton; father in-law-Emmitt Brown (Virginia), Oglethorpe, Georgia; aunts and uncles, Barry Redding (Joyce), Huston, Texas, Marion Redding (Felicia) Washington D.C., John Redding (Bertha), Atlanta, Georgia, Paulette Thompson (Tony), Marvin Brown (Rose Marie) and Lorraine Duncan all of Montezuma, Georgia; brothers–in-law, Garrett Williams, Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Ricky Williams (Towanda) Montezuma, Georgia; other sisters-in-law/brothers-in-law; Charlene Pugh, Sonya King (Anthony), Emmitt Brown, Jr., Dexter Brown (Phyllis) and Mega Allen (Ellis), a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and beloved friends.
