Tracy Ann Smith, at 55, was called from labor to eternal rest on Saturday, May 9, 2026. She was born in Sumter County, Georgia and raised in Buena Vista, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Otis Smith and the late Christine Jones.

Hamp "HB" Barner has been called from labor to rest. He was born October 7, 1955, to the late T.J. Barner Sr. and the late Ophelia Barner in Macon County Georgia.  He attended the public schools of Lamson Richardson Elementary and Macon County High School.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, May 15th, 2026, at the St. James C.M.E. Church, located at 217 Railroad Street, Marshallville, Georgia. Burial will follow in Colonel Felton Cemetery, 502 South Street, Marshallville, Georgia.

Rosa Lee Smith Ramsey, age 84, of Buena Vista Georgia, was called home on April 13, 2026. She was the daughter of the late Aldridge Smith and the late Mattie Lou Carter Smith.

​Sheneka Swanson Hudson, of Buena Vista, Georgia, passed away on Friday, April 10, 2026, at 44. She was the daughter of Teddy Swanson and the late Patricia Hill.

Officer Keith Edward Everett, age 66, passed on Thursday, April 9, 2026. He was born December 16, 1959, in Macon County Georgia to the parentage of Mary Louise Jones (Charles Jones) and Deacon Dave (Lizzie) Everett.

David McIntosh has passed at the age of 78. He was born in Buena Vista, Georgia on November 13, 1947, to the parentage of the late Mattie B. Hayes and the late Robert McIntosh.
