Aldean Walton Hefflin

Mrs. Aldean Walton Hefflin, age 71, passed Thursday, November 6, 2008 at the Sumter Regional Hospital, Americus, Georgia.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, November 11, 2008 at Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel, Inc., 607 Kaigler Street, Oglethorpe, Georgia.  Interment will follow in Hopewell Cemetery, Ellaville, Georgia.

Mrs. Hefflin was born July 18, 1937 in Ellaville, Schley County, Georgia to the late Ethel Owens Williams and Hosley Walton.  She was educated in the public school system of Schley County, Georgia and her Christian training at Union Hill A.M.E. Church.  She was married to the late Henry "Pete" Hefflin and to this union they were blessed with two children.  One daughter, Alma Jean Hefflin, preceded her in death.

Survivor are a daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca Mann (Arthur), Americus, Georgia; three loving grandchildren, Lorranda Holmes, Buena Vista, Georgia, Christopher Hefflin, Columbus, Georgia and Tony Hefflin, Decatur, Georgia; five loving great grandchildren, Richelle Crimes, Jimmie Crimes, both of Buena Vista, Georgia, Tony Hefflin, Jr., Sacremento, California, Dyshawn Ford, Fort Valley, Georgia and Dominique Clark, Oglethorpe, Georgia; one great great grandson, Davion Ford, Fort Valley, Georgia; four sisters-in-law, Mae Willie Walker, Oglethorpe, Georgia, Helen Hart, Ernestine Frazier, both of Ellaville, Georgia and Mary Kate Boyd, Charlotte, North Carolina; half brothers and half sisters, Joseph Walton, Jersey City, New Jersey, Rebecca Jones, Buena Vista, Georgia, Mary Brown, Richland, Georgia, John Wesley, Doris Garner (Willie), Clem Walton, Chester Walton, all of Buena Vista, Georgia, Susie Walton, Columbus, Georgia, Alton Walton, Henry Walton, both of Buena Vista, Georgia, Alma Walton, Americus, Georgia and Curtis Walton (Pearl), Buena Vista, Georgia; a host of beloved nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Master Ajerius Jarod "Ajizzle" Williams, age 7 of Americus, Georgia passed Sunday, November 23, 2008 at the Sumter Regional Hospital, Americus, Georgia.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, November 29, 2008 at Old Shady Grove Baptist Church, New Era Road, Americus, Georgia.  Interment will follow in Eastview Cemetery, Ashby Street, Americus, Georgia.

Ajerius was born November 2, 2001 in Americus, Georgia to the parentage of Christy Williams and Octavius Colbert. Ajerius was the grandson of the late Mrs. Jerry Hill and LaShaun Colbert.  He was a 1st grade honor student at Cherokee Elementary School. He was a big wrestling fan, a lover of Spiderman, and bicycle rider. One of his favorite hobbies was playing the video games.

Ajerius is survived by his loving and devoted parents, Christy Williams (Mark Bridges), Americus, Georgia and Octavious Colbert, Atlanta, Georgia; two sisters, Makaya Bridges and Amariya Bridges, both of Americus, Georgia; paternal grandparents, Ernestine Colbert (Robert), Andersonville, Georgia and Tyrone Williams (Sandra), Jacksonville, Florida; uncles and aunts, Kenya Hill, Tawanna Willis (Willie Ballard), Sharnae Hill, Kanell Tyson, Sarah Colbert, Shanquail Colbert, Natasha Mable, Corey Willis, Tyrone Williams and Corey Colbert, all of Americus, Georgia, Roderick Hughey (Alundria), Jefferson County, Georgia and Tiffany Williams, Jacksonville, Florida; a host of other relatives including several devoted cousins, Jaylen Hill, Brittany Smith, Trendrick Ingram, Jr., and Willie Ballard, Jr., and a host of friends which include PeeWee, Redman, Munchie Man, Kelletta Clayton, Antonia "Toni" Bouie, and Cherokee Elementary School family.
