Mr. Alonzo Frazier was born in Marion County on September 23, 1961, to the late James Allen Frazier and Earnestine Heffling Frazier. He was educated in the public school system of Schley and Marion Counties.

Frazier, as he was known to his friends, was always making people laugh with his words.

He leaves his only son, Clifford Dowsey, of Americus, Georgia and nine grandkids, as well as his siblings, Willie (Ineda) Frazier, Smyrna, Georgia, Herbert (Veronica) Frazier, Columbus, Georgia, Marilyn Frazier, Ellaville, Georgia, Elizabeth Blanford, and Nathan Blanford, Ellaville, Georgia; two aunts, Helen Hart, Ellaville, Georgia and Mary Barnette, East Point, Georgia; uncles, Henry Smith and Milton Smith, both of East Point, Georgia; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

​Angela Patricia Davis of 438 Finney Road, Jeffersonville, Georgia passed on February 23, 2023, at the age of 57.

The funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at 12:00 P.M. at Faith Memorial C.M.E. Church in Ideal, Georgia. Burial will follow at Hopewell Independent Church Cemetery, Brooks Mills Road, Rupert, Georgia.

Angela P Davis affectionately known as Ann or ‘Baby Girl,’ of 438 Finney Rd. Jeffersonville, Ga, was born on September 5, 1965 to the late Franklin ‘Frank’ Davis and also the late Mamie ‘Git’ Byse Davis in Macon County, Ga.

Angela attended and graduated from Macon County High School, Montezuma, Ga with the Class of 1983. She was a dedicated employee of Frito Lay, Kathleen, Ga and after more than twenty devoted years of service she retired in 2021.

For over 10 years she was blissfully joined in holy matrimony to Howard H Davis Jr.

Everybody who knew Ann knew the thing that pleased her the most was spending time with her baby boy Shaun whenever and wherever possible. She also enjoyed traveling with Howard and the boys, eating while traveling; spending time with all the family, and a good game of spades. She was an avid reader and enjoyed watching movies and her favorite TV show Jeopardy.

On Thursday, February 23, 2023, Angela Davis ever so peacefully departed this earthly life for eternal glory. No more suffering and no more pain. 

She leaves to cherish her memories a loving and devoted husband Howard H. Davis Jr; Devoted son T-Sergeant Erik Davis, Germany; Bonus sons Howard ‘Trey’ Davis and Daniel Davis; Devoted mother in law- Ms Betty Tharpe of Macon, Ga; Siblings: Cheryl Hunt(Ray), Suffolk, Va; Juanita Kendrick, Hampton, Va; Clara Glover, Hampton, Ga, Rodricus Ivory(Latonya), Oglethorpe, Ga.; Sister-in-law, Regina Davis Hollis; Loving Nephews and Nieces: Christopher Leonard (Ebony), Roderick Haugabook, Tevin Haugabook, Victoria Glover, Shaunbrelle Perkins, Davis Hollis, Dominic Leonard, Courtney Leonard, Ethan Leonard, Aubree Haugabook; Aunts Shirley Byse, Carrie P Byse of Ideal, Ga.; Bonus mom: Margie Nell Worthy; Devoted cousin: Cynthia Lassiter and a host of other relative and friends.

The graveside service will be held at 4:00 P.M., Sunday, February 26, 2023, at Vienna City Cemetery, Woodward Drive, Vienna, Georgia.

Our beloved Tommie Lee Anderson was born on November 11, 1933, in Tippettville, Georgia. He was born to the late Mrs. Ella Mae Anderson and the late Mr. Tommie Lee Sykes. He attended Dooly County Public School System. He was a member of Spring Hill Baptist Church where he served as an Usher. He worked for 40 plus years from the City of Vienna, 18 of those years he didn’t miss a day. He was the founder of Anderson Vault Company.

Tommie was joined in holy matrimony to Almetia Johnson Anderson; they shared 25 years of love and happiness together. Almetia preceded him in death on November 26, 2003. He was also preceded in death by three children Tommy J. Anderson, Terry Anderson, and J.D. Anderson, his siblings Sylvester Thomas and  Bobby Anderson. 

He leaves to cherish his memories to his beloved children Almetia (Bobby) Rogers, of Vienna, Georgia and Jerome Anderson, of Atlanta, Georgia, six grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren; a sister Ms. Grace Anderson, Atlanta, Georgia; brothers Mr. Raymond Anderson, Vienna, Georgia, Mr. David (Sylvia) Anderson, North Carolina, Mr. Harry (Mary) Anderson, Vienna, Georgia, Mr. Steve Anderson, Atlanta, Georgia; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends, including devoted family members Sammy Anderson, Lonnie Anderson, and Sherman Thomas.   ​

David was born November 12, 1953, to the late Boyd T. Minter and Ossie Lois Minter. He was educated in the public school system of Marion County whereas he was 1971 graduate of Marion County High School. He furthered his education and graduated in 1975 from Fort Valley State University receiving a degree in Political Science.  He was a sales person with South Western Publishing Company. Two siblings preceded him in death; Tucker Minter Jr. and Bobby Minter, and one devoted Cousin Gloria D Minter. 

David departed this life on Tuesday morning February 21, 2023 at his home.

He leaves to cherish his memories to his sister Willie Mae Minter, Buena Vista, Georgia; nieces Aretha Minter White, Atlanta, Georgia, Michelle Minter, Warner Robins, Georgia, Quenette Minter, Miami, Florida, Latrice Moddy, Morrow, Georgia, Cicley Williams, Atlanta, Georgia; nephews Eric Minter, Oglethorpe, Georgia. Bobby Minter, Atlanta, Georgia, Dorian Graham, Atlanta, Georgia; one aunt Johnnie B Minter, Buena Vista, Georgia; a host other nieces and nephews, other relatives, and ​friends.

Irma Tookes was born in the small town of Oglethorpe, Georgia. On June 1, 1954, the late Willie Luke Tookes and Mary Lois Tookes gave birth to who would later become a loving, caring God fearing woman. Irma’s educational journey would start in the Macon County School System and help start her on her career path. She was a graduate of the 1973 Class of D.F. Douglass High School. Irma would eventually make Oglethorpe, Georgia her home and final resting place.

With a Christian foundation instilled in her, Irma joined Davis Chapel A.M.E. Church at a very early age. She would later relocate her membership to St. Paul A.M.E. Church and become an active member of the choir. St. Paul would be her final church home.

Irma was active for the early years of her life. She would work a number of years at Southern Frozen Foods, Inc. and eventually retire. However, Irma did not stop at retirement and maintained her zeal for staying active. She would go on to obtain her cosmetology license and finish her years as a beautician.

Irma was preceded in death by her mother, father, two siblings Queen Minter and Marvin Tookes, Sr., and two nieces Carolyn Edwards and Calandra Tookes.

On Thursday, February 16, 2023, God called Irma home to find peace in his Heavenly Kingdom. Irma Tookes leaves to remember her, her beloved three children Derronsdell “Marcel” Tookes, Perry, Georgia, N’Kema Freeman (Sean), Byron, Georgia, Alisha Harper, Warner Robins, Georgia; grandchildren Chazmine, Jaida, Izaiah, Sean, Reagan, Zirmarya, Zion, Kamiya, Derronsdell Jr., Ayden, and Lauryn; two great grandchildren Zain and  Zaiah; siblings Henry Leonard Tookes (Naomi), Jacksonville, Florida, Willie Tookes, Ideal, Georgia, Mary Ann Tookes-Edwards, Montezuma, Georgia, Gloria Dean Thomas (Rev. James Thomas), Buena Vista, Georgia, Doddie Tookes, Oglethorpe, Georgia; a god-brother Lynn Tyson a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other close relatives and devoted cousins & friends Brenda Durham, Betty Sue Jones, Lula Tookes, Jennifer Johnson, Alma Jean Jones, Cussetta Journey, Lorna Mathis, and Kathy Ward Mann.

Elonzo was born January 16, 1960, in Buena Vista, Georgia to the late Roseanna Robinson and the late  Charlie  Prather Sr. He was preceded in death by siblings Betty Walker, Doris Perry, Henry Prather, Charlie Mae Robinson, and Steven Daniel. He was educated in the public school system of Marion County. He was employed as a truck driver for various trucking companies.
 
He leaves to cherish his memories to three children Elonzo Walton (Nakia), Aryel Walton, Dayja Walton; six  grandchildren, Ny’Quavius Walton, Ny’Darious Walton, Ja’Coria Walton, Hailey Walton, Kash Walton, Kiara Walton; siblings Willie Prather (Eddie Rene), Charles Prather Jr. (Carlesa),  Barbara Green, Elvira Trice (Richard) Brenda Prather, Thad Prather (Jeanette), Dandra Taylor, Rosie Moon, Mary  Shorter (Keith), Stephanie Stickney (Bruce), Verlene Smith (Sidney), Gail King, Marybeth Daniel, Tory Daniel (Joann); uncle L.C. Robinson; aunt Loretta Storey Ernestine Simmons; sister in law Verdell Prather; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Agnes Sanders Wright at the age of 83 went to meet her maker on February 9, 2023, while at her residence in Fort Washington, MD. Mrs. Agnes Sanders Wright was born to the late Bee Sanders and Maggie Ford Sanders on July 5, 1939, in Oglethorpe, GA. She was preceded in death by her two brothers George and Roosevelt Sanders and by her sisters Laura Ann Sanders Harris and Beatrice Sanders Gaines.

She was educated in the Macon County School Systems. After graduating from
 high school, she moved to the Bronx, New York and then later to Fort Washington, MD.

She married Lawrence A. Wright in 1971 and shared 52 years of love, life and
 happiness with one another.

In celebration of her life, Agnes leaves to cherish loving memories of her husband
 Lawrence A. Wright, her devoted children, Rodney and Philip of Fort Washington, MD, Sandra and son in-law Michael of Waldorf, MD. She leaves behind one sister Marie Spikes of Montezuma, GA, six grandchildren: Rashawn Quarles, Brielle Martin (Aaron), Brittney Troxel, Michael Troxel Jr., Ameiya Reaves and Tyrell Reaves. Two great grandchildren: Anthony Jr. and A’meile; a host of loving nieces, nephews, and close friends (Patricia Ross).
