The funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, December 31, 2022, at Ebenezer Baptist Church, Church Street, Andersonville, Georgia. Burial will follow at the Davis Chapel Cemetery, Hwy 26, Oglethorpe, Georgia.
Graveside services, including burials, are likely to be held on ground that is uneven, which is out of the control of Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel, Inc. We ask that you take this into consideration when choosing footwear, such as shoes with high, thin heels. Mr. Albert McDonald, also known as "Junebug," was born on December 13, 1945, in Macon County, Georgia to the late Albert McDonald and Rosetta Williams McDonald. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Otis McDonald and John McDonald. He was educated in the public school system of Macon County. He worked for Mulcoa for 10 years before he moved to Miami in 1967. He was a member of Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church. He worked for Paramount Vending until he retired.
On, Thursday, December 15, 2022, Mr. Albert McDonald was called to rest in the presence of the Lord.
He is survived by his wife, Wylene McDonald, daughter, Tamika McDonald, grandchildren Warren Davis and Janelle Robinson and great granddaughter Ivory Davis. He is also survived by two daughters he helped raised, Danielle Wilder and Louise Hepburn. He is also survived by his siblings Shirley Wells, Catherine McDonald, Etta Mae (Bennie) McDonald and Milton McDonald all of Andersonville, Deacon Charlie (Bonnette) McDonald, Montezuma, Georgia, Willie (Irene) McDonald, Tampa, Florida and Edward McDonald of Buena Vista, Georgia. He also leaves to cherish The Townes Family and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
