The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Monday morning, June 3, 2013 at Jehovah Missionary Baptist Church, 201 Chatham Street, Oglethorpe, Georgia. Interment will follow in Oglethorpe City Cemetery, Memorial Drive, Oglethorpe, Georgia.
Felicia “Lisa” June Thomas was born July 3, 1974 in Montezuma, Macon County, Georgia to the parentage of Rev. David Thomas, Sr. and Lillie Fudge Thomas. Her brother, Gregory Thomas, preceded her in death. She was a 1992 graduate of D.F. Douglass High School of Montezuma, Georgia. Lisa, as she was known by family and friends, joined the band of Christian Believers at Travelers’ Home Baptist Church, Ideal, Georgia. She was a junior choir member of Evergreen Baptist Church of Pinehurst, Georgia. Lisa received her technical training from Middle Flint Quality Enterprise of Montezuma, Georgia.
Lisa leaves to cherish her memories her loving and devoted parents, Rev. David Thomas, Sr. and Lillie Fudge Thomas, Montezuma, Georgia; her two siblings, Michael Thomas (Janice), Atlanta, Georgia and David Thomas, Jr., Montezuma, Georgia; her grandmother, Mrs. Maggie Fudge, Montezuma, Georgia; her nieces and nephews, Morgan Thomas, Sydney Thomas, Brandon Thomas and Brittany Thomas; her special niece whom she would babysit, Nina Dinkins; her aunts and uncles, Arleana Dunn, Montezuma, Georgia, Annie Lois Brown, Warner Robins, Georgia, Vanessa Fudge, Atlanta, Georgia, Peggy L. Fudge, Willie Frank Fudge (Marilyn), all of Montezuma, Georgia, Leon Fudge (Carmen), Montezuma, Georgia, Ivory Thomas (Thelma), Joseph Thomas (Barbara Ann), all of Atlanta, Georgia, Larry Thomas, Oglethorpe, Georgia, Virginia Holt, Atlanta, Georgia and Marion Oglesby (Rev.
