
The graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, June 1, 2013 at Oglethorpe City Cemetery, Memorial Drive, Oglethorpe, Georgia.
Ms. Laura Williams was born October 24, 1916 to the late Andrew Williams and Sallie Mae Welch Williams in Alabama. Three sisters, Gracie Mae Bush, Elizabeth Mann and Maude Harris, preceded her in death. She accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior and joined the Missionary Baptist Church. After many dedicated years of service, she retired as a homemaker.
Survivors are one devoted and caring sister, Rose Grant, Oglethorpe, Georgia; a host of beloved nieces and nephews, including three devoted, Fannie Hannor, Oglethorpe, Georgia, Anthony Bush and Lisa Bush, both of Columbia, South Carolina; a host of cousins and friends.

I Miss my Big Tee! Growing up in Miami, she was a constant companion, caretaker, and wonderful personality in my young life! Her and my greatgrandmother Sallie Mae were some of the most special people EVER. She will be missed!

Ms. Laura was like a grandmother to me. She brought so much joy to my life and I feel so blessed to have known her. I know that she is at peace and in God's presence. I will always cherish our time together. I am praying for her family, that God will comfort them during this difficult time.
