Albert "Jim Bo" Duncan, age 81, of Lithonia, Georgia passed June 7, 2007 at the DeKalb Medical Center.   

The funeral service will be held at 12:00 P.M., Friday, June 15, 2007 at Meadows Mortuary, Inc., 419 Flat Shoals Avenue SE, Atlanta, Georgia.  Interment will follow in Dawn Memorial Gardens, Gleenwood Road, Decatur, Georgia.  Meadows Mortuary, Inc of Atlanta, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.

Albert was born in Macon County, Georgia November 17, 1925 to the late Harry Duncan and Ethel Mae Howard Duncan.   He was educated in the public school system of Macon County.  In 1944 he was inducted into the U.S. Navy where as he fought bravely during World War II.   He was employed with General Motors as a Automotive Technician and retired in 1981 after many years of dedicated services.  He was a member of the Faith Memorial C.M.E. Church of Ideal, Georgia.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 60 years, Eva McKenzie Duncan, Lithonia, Georgia; three sons, Kenneth Duncan, Calvin Duncan (Tanya), Harold Duncan (Patricia).  Seven Daughters, Thelma Neely (Phillip), Shirley Gunn (Jackie), Linda Scales (Harvey), Alma Evans, Alice Bailey (Jessie), Earnestine Khaleel (Bernard), and Eleanor Duncan; daughter-in-law, Teressa Duncan; thirty-nine grandchildren, thirty-six great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren.  Five devoted siblings and their spouses, Joe Duncan (Betty),  Bessie Nelson (J.C.), Oris Duncan, Raymond Duncan all of Ideal, Georgia and Doris Respert, Jonesboro, Georgia; sister-in-law, Hattie Neal, Decatur, Georgia; aunts and uncle, Vannie Howard, Ideal, Georgia, Emory Howard (Rosa), Stockbridge, Georgia and Cora Duncan, Ideal, Georgia and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Agnes Raines Walker

Mrs. Agnes Louise Raines Walker, age 45, Americus, Georgia passed Sunday, June 10, 2007 at the Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital, Albany, Georgia.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, June 16, 2007 at Friendship Baptist Church, Cotton Avenue, Americus, Georgia.  Interment will follow in Lebanon Cemetery, Grangerville Community, Ideal, Georgia.

Agnes was born January 21, 1962 in Macon County, Georgia to Willie Faye Raines and the late Freddy Lee Raines.  She was a 1980 graduate of Macon County High School of Montezuma, Georgia.  Her demand in her future became very vivid to her. In 1984, she graduated from South Georgia Technical College with a degree as a Licensed Practitioner Nurse.  In 1993, she acquired her degree as a registered nurse from Georgia Southwestern University of Americus, Georgia.  She was the recipient of 10, 15 and 18 years awards for her professional and dedicated services rendered to the Sumter Regional Hospital. On June 11, 1993 she received the Outstanding Clinical Performance Award from Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital of Albany, Georgia.  After 20 dedicated years of service in the field of medicine, she retired from the Sumter Regional Hospital with many awards and recognitions honoring her services as a Registered Nurse.  She was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Nathan Raines.  She was a member of Travelers Rest Home Baptist Church of Ideal, Georgia and a regular attendant of Friendship Baptist Church of Americus, Georgia.

Survivors include her husband, James Evans Walker, Sr., Americus, Georgia; children, Jameah Sharney Walker and James Evans Walker, Jr., both of Americus, Georgia; mother, Wilie Faye Raines, Ideal, Georgia; siblings, Rosa Mae Jones (John Thomas), Roberta, Georgia, Annie Joe Phillips, Americus, Georgia, Ilene Raines and Elouise Raines, both of Ideal, Georgia; father-in-law/mother-in-law, James Walker (Rena), Americus, Georgia; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Craig Walker, Carolyn Jordan and Jacqueline Walker, all of Americus, Georgia; aunts and uncles, Minnie Reeves, Americus, Georgia, Nancy Bivins, Bennie Raines, Montezuma, Georgia, Willie Lee Raines, Mauk, Georgia, Juliette Raines, Ideal, Georgia, Joyce Raines, Ellaville, Georgia, Romeo Harris (Lonnie Mae), Anno Harris (Betty), Ike Harris (Velma), Woodrow Harris, Berdia White (Otis), Vergirie King, all of Americus, Georgia, Delores Baldwin, Dorothy Owens, both of Aliquippa, Pennsylvania and Bessie Raines, Oglethorpe, Georgia; a host of beloved nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
