The funeral service will be held at 12:30 P.M., Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at Magnolia Baptist Church, 415 Hosie Waters Street, Montezuma, Georgia. Burial will follow at 2:00 P.M. in the Andersonville National Cemetery, 496 Cemetery Road, Andersonville, Georgia.
Graveside services, including burials, are likely to be held on ground that is uneven, which is out of the control of Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel, Inc. Mickey Dolenze Lowe was born August 4, 1971, to Claudette Morris Lowe and the late Elmer James Lowe. He was educated in the public school of Sumter County and received his diploma from Sumter County Comprehensive High School. He was a member of Magnolia Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Hosie Waters. Mickey loved music, his family & friends, and bringing a smile to everyone's face.
He leaves to cherish his memories to his devoted mother, Claudette Lowe, Montezuma, Georgia, siblings Gary Felder (Ketena), Montezuma, Georgia, Sonja Marie Henderson (Kevin), Locust Grove, Georgia, Shorana 'Roni' Prather (Earnest), Woodbridge, Virginia, and Randy Lowe, Montezuma, Georgia; nieces Kenya Jenkins, Denita White, Madison Prather, Shiriah Lowe, Aya Lowe, Cameron Lowe, Dhajah Harrison, Kayla Lowe, nephews Garrick Lowe, Jerrel Lowe, uncles Larry Lowe (Laverne), Billy Lowe (Leah); aunts Dorthy Jean Williams, Montezuma, Georgia, Mary Lowe Davis, Perry, Georgia.
