Willie Lewis Ballard, Sr., age 44, 102 Argo Street, Americus, Georgia passed Monday, May 4, 2015 at Atlanta Medical Center, Atlanta, Georgia.
 
The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday morning, May 13, 2015 at Perry Grove Baptist Church, Georgia Highway 280, Leslie, Georgia, where Reverend David Ham is pastor. Reverend Dr. Robert Morgan will officiate. Interment will follow in the Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, 118 Allen Street, Leslie, Georgia.
 
Willie Lewis Ballard, Sr. was born July 17, 1970 to Virgil Lee Morgan and the late Minnie Ruth Ballard in Americus, Sumter County, Georgia.   He was educated in the public school system of Sumter County.  He was employed with the Townsend Tree Surgery in Americus, Georgia. Willie was known by family and friends as “Mr. 1000.”
 
He leaves to cherish his memories: seven loving and devoted children, Korviez Ballard, South Korea, Chelsey and Kelsey Dice, Antwan Wright, Willie Ballard, Jr. Nykerriah Ballard and Nikaylen Ballard, all of Americus, Georgia; a devoted son, whom he reared as his own, Marquis Hall, Americus, Georgia; a loving pet, Coco; five loving grandchildren, Dior Janae Wilburn, Kailyn Chanelle Wilburn, Kelsey Dice, Jr., JeKayden Dice, and Diamond Dice; his father, Virgil Morgan, Americus, Georgia; sister, Shanda Ballard, Americus, Georgia; brother, Jeffery Ballard, Americus, Georgia; aunts and uncles, Ella Morgan, Americus, Georgia, Dr. Mary Nell Morgan Brown (Bill), Greenwich, New York,  Sarah Pride, Americus, Georgia,  Linda Morgan Smith (Eddie), Atlanta, Georgia,  Deirdra Morgan Smith, Americus, Georgia, Jesse West (Betty), Haynes City, Florida and Rev. Dr. Robert Morgan (Chandra), Americus, Georgia; nieces & nephews, Alicia Ballard, Jacolby Ballard, Torris Mann, Jr., and Jakory Wise, all of Americus, Georgia; a host of cousins including four devoted, Mattye Morgan, Albany, Georgia, Torrance Morgan, Albany, Georgia, Ashley Ballard and Darius Ballard (Jessica), all of Americus, Georgia; a fiancée, LaQuilla Tatum, Americus, Georgia;  a host of friends, including three devoted, Corey Carter, Tommy Robinson and Nikita Griffin, all of Americus, Georgia.

words can't explain how much I loved you even after all that we went through.. I prayed for forgiveness and it shall be received you are still my father, the first man I'll ever have real love for and my best friend partner && crime!!!
