Asha and I have been the best of friends for the last 20 years, so Frank was like another father to me. He took me in like one of his own. We shared some great memories and many laughs together. It still has not sunken in yet that he is no longer with us. Wow, Frank, you will truly be missed. May the love of Jesus comfort the family, friends, and loved ones during this time of bereavement. Peace be with you.

I have known Frank since the mid 1970s. We met at Anacostia Park in Washington, D.C. He was the only person out there who was "deep". We started having these philosophical discussions and realized that, although we came from completely different backgrounds and from completely different parts of the country, we had a connection, like we were brothers.

I stayed in the Washington, D.C. area but Frank moved back and forth to Americus Georgia. When he was here, it was great having him around. We both helped each other grow in a spiritual sense. Living in Americus, he travelled to D.C. to attend the Million Man March with me along with my brother Pete and other friends. Frank and Pat attended the wedding of me and Alaiyo in 1991. It was great to have him there. I saw Frank at his daughter Kim's wedding and in Americus when Alaiyo, Omari, stopped off on our way back from Mobile, Alabama.

Frank was an excellent father and in that sense became a role model for me. He was very supportive of his family. Frank was a very spiritual person. He was the kind of friend who would steer you to the good path. I will miss him deeply.

My sincere condolences to the Odums family. I got to know Mr Odums many years ago. He was my son Head Start teacher. He was very soft spoken and would help you any he could. We love you, but God loves you more🙏🏼🙏🏼
