Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at Nelson Cemetery, Ideal, Georgia.
Please be mindful that we will adhere to all government recommendations and mandates at all services at this time. We are limiting graveside seating to no more than 10 with masks being strongly encouraged. Other masked attendees are welcomed but will be expected to practice social distancing.
Graveside services, including burials, are likely to be held on ground that is uneven, which is out of the control of Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel, Inc. We ask that you take this into consideration when choosing footwear, such as shoes with high, thin heels. Please be advised that Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel, Inc. will not be held responsible for injuries at a grave site because of this.
Willie B Byse Jr. was born December 18, 1967 in Ideal, Georgia to the late Cilla Nelson Byse and the late Willie B Byse Sr. He was preceded in death by one brother Willie Charles Byse. He was educated in the public school system of Macon County and was a graduate of the historic D.F. Douglas High School. He was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. He was a member of the United States Navy. Over the years Willie was employed with the United States Postal Services, a Carpenter with Durham manufacturer and Tyco.
He leaves to cherish his memories to four children Craig Fowler (Kara), Columbus, Georgia, William Billy Byse, Savannah, Georgia, Cyerra Byse, Cymone Byse both of Detroit, Michigan; seven grandchildren; siblings Brenda Smith (Larry), Stockbridge, Georgia, Carolyn English (Ishom), Atlanta, Georgia, Eddie Byse, Ideal, Georgia, Lillie Williams (Jerry), Oglethorpe, Georgia, Hazel Johnson ( Michael), Mableton, Georgia, Cordelia Byse, Ideal, Georgia, Sandonal Byse, Marshallville, Georgia, Angela York (Keith), Hiram, Georgia, Janice Mack, Warner Robins, Georgia, Sheuronda Byse, Austell, Georgia, Shonda Brazley (Donte); a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends including a devoted cousins Jack Byse, Otis Aldridge, Fredrick Aldridge, Tony Byse; devoted nephews who was like a brother Larry Smith II, and Bradford Byse.
