The graveside service will be held at 12:00 P.M., Saturday, September 23, 2023, at Eastview Cemetery, Ashby Street, Americus, Georgia.
Graveside services, including burials, are likely to be held on ground that is uneven, which is out of the control of Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel, Inc. We ask that you take this into consideration when choosing footwear, such as shoes with high, thin heels. Please be advised that Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel, Inc. will not be held responsible for injuries at a grave site because of this.
William A. McCrary was known as Al to family and close friends. Born and raised in Americus, GA to Mrs. Wilma (Pickett) and Mr. Billy McCrary. He was rushed to Sumter Regional Hospital in Americus, where he passed. He was a Christian and attended Greater Cedar Spring Baptist Church in Plains, GA. Although he mostly worked as a customer service representative, his greatest achievement was being an uncle to his two nieces and nephew; Cierra Laney, C'Niyah McCrary, and Christopher McCrary.
Along with his nieces and nephew, his life will forever be cherished by his loving mother, Mrs. McCrary and Mr. Billy McCrary of Americus. His irreplaceable sister Ms. Crystal McCrary of Warner Robins, and his brother like no other, Mr. Marquist Baisden. Aunts Alice Muff of Plains, GA, Ida Johnson of Ft. Valley, Georgia, Chester Pickett, Wille Pickett, both of Americus, Georgia, Norman Pickett and Pacie Pickett Jr., all of Plains, GA and Raymond Pickett of Hemet, California.
