Tyler Lamar French, age 27 of 501 Manchester Lane,  Byron, Georgia, passed on October 23, 2021. 

Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, October 30, 2021 at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery, 2560 Willow Lake Road, Fort Valley, Georgia.

Please be mindful that we will adhere to all government recommendations and mandates at all services at this time. We are limiting graveside seating to no more than 10 with masks being strongly encouraged. Other masked attendees are welcomed but will be expected to practice social distancing.

Graveside services, including burials, are likely to be held on ground that is uneven, which is out of the control of Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel, Inc. We ask that you take this into consideration when choosing footwear, such as shoes with high, thin heels. Please be advised that Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel, Inc. will not be held responsible for injuries at a grave site because of this.​

Tyler was born September 27, 1994 in Houston County, Georgia to Maurice French and Amanda Rumph. He was a 2014 graduate of Peach County High School. He was employed with Perdue Farms as a forklift  driver. He was currently employed with Dollar General Warehouse in Jackson, Georgia as truck loader.   

He leaves fond memories to his parents, Amanda McKenzie, Bryon, Georgia, Maurice French (Kiara), Warner Robins, Georgia; two children Kaiden Lamar French , Kylah Lowe both of  Byron,  Georgia; siblings Imari French, Marshallville, Georgia, Kegan McKenzie ,Byron, Georgia, Deion French, Alexus French,  Alisheya French, Jaylon French, all of Warner Robins, Georgia, Maurice French, Jr. Amari French, Michael Sherman,  and Ashanti Hollis; grandparents Willie James  and Dianne Rumph, Marshallville, Georgia,   Eddie and Carrie Williams, Fort Valley, Georgia, great grandmother Annie Ruth French, Fort Valley, Georgia; Aunts/uncles Vicki Rumph, LaGrange, Georgia, Roderick Rumph, Marshallville, Georgia, Charles & Yvonne French, Roberta, Georgia, Quenton McDonald, LaGrange, Georgia; a companion Tamia Richardson, Fort Valley, Georgia, a host of great aunts/great uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
