Theodore Storey, age 66, 320 Fobb Drive, Buena Vista, Georgia passed away on Monday, August 8, 2016.
The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, August 13, 2016 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Mt. Zion Road, Ellaville, Georgia. Interment will follow in the Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.
Theodore was born in Ellaville, Schley County, Georgia October 27, 1949 to the late William J. Storey, Sr. and Minnie Lee Wallace Storey. He was a 1967 graduate of John Lewis High School. He was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church, Dozier Road, Ellaville, Georgia.
He was employed as a tractor trailer driver with Preston Forrest Trucking Company. He was united in holy matrimony to the late Carolyn Jackson Storey. To this union, two children were born; one son, Lamar Jackson, preceded him in death.
Survivors are two sons, Warren Jackson (Lisa) and Tony Battle (Vanessa), all of Buena Vista, Georgia; one daughter; Sharon Turner, Orlando, Florida ; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; eight siblings, Melvyn Leon Storey, Americus, Georgia, Lillian Ruth Batchelor (Thomas), Ellaville, Georgia, Bernard Storey (Erma), Arizona, Tommie Doris Collier (David) Albany, Georgia, Rev. Dr. William J. Storey, Jr. (Mamie) Columbus, Georgia, Milton Storey (Mary) Ellaville, Georgia, Gwendolyn Storey Coley (Robert), Americus, Georgia, and Diane Laster (Rev.
