Teresa Warren, age 46, 111 Horton Drive Apt-B, Americus, Georgia passed Monday, June 15, 2020 at Navicent Hospital, Macon, Georgia.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 P.M., Saturday, June 20, 2020 at the Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel, 607 Kaigler Street, Oglethorpe, Georgia.
Please be mindful that we will adhere to all government recommendations and mandates to limit the number of attendees at all services at this time. We are limiting the number of attendees to no more than 10 at the funeral home chapel services and graveside services. We thank you for your understanding and patience during this time.
Teresa was born February 1, 1974 in Schley County, Georgia to Edgar Warren, Sr. and Dianne King Warren. She was a graduate of Tri-County High School and a graduate of South Georgia Technical College of Americus, Georgia with a certificate in culinary arts. She was formerly employed with Cooper Lighting, an accountant with the Sumter County Sheriff Department, as a mail clerk at Habitat for Humanity of Americus, Georgia.
At a very young age she joined the band of Christian believers at Quebec Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Reverend John Hollis. Teresa was preceded in death by her beloved grandparents Deacon James and Sis, Catherine King, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Frank Lester Warren, Sr. and the late Minnie Warren. She was also preceded in death by her loving uncles, Ben King and Henry J. “Doc” King.
Survivors include her five children, Keith Warren Sr., Atlanta, Georgia, Kierra Warren, Patrick Warren, Dominique Warren and Chasen Warren all of Americus, Georgia; seven grandchildren, Chandler Jones, Morgan Jones, Chansen Sanders, Tucker Warren, Parker Warren All of Americus, Georgia and Keith Warren Jr., Keviaija Williams both of Atlanta, Georgia; three siblings, Faye King, Atlanta, Georgia, Erica Woods and Edgar Warren, Jr, both of Americus, Georgia; aunts and uncles include, David King, Ellaville, Georgia, Gail King and Linda King both Decatur, Georgia, Leslie Foster, Viola King both of Americus, Georgia, Tony King, Jacksonville, Florida, Ronnie King (Vivian) Ellaville, Georgia, Sammie Warren, Ellaville, Georgia, Charles Warren, Oglethorpe, Georgia, Tony Warren, Americus, Georgia, Curtis Warren, Brunswick, Georgia, Minnie Riley Atlanta, Georgia and Yvonne Warren of New Jersey; a host of beloved cousins including Kent King and Matthew King; nieces, nephews, other relatives and sorrowing friends.
