Rose Mae Wimbush Reynolds, age 74, 38-A Cedar Court, Ellaville, Georgia passed in the loving surrounding of her children and family on July 7, 2016.
The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at the Shelton Temple Church of Christ, 5th Street, Buena Vista, Georgia, where Elder Charlie Kelly is pastor. Elder Joe Houston will officiate. Burial will follow in the Union Cemetery, Ga Highway 41 South, Buena Vista, Georgia.
Rose Mae Wimbush was born on August 24, 1941 to the late Elem Wimbush Sr. and Willie Ruth Pough Wimbush in Buena Vista, Georgia. She was preceded in death by a son, Bunnie Reynolds, and seven siblings Della Mae Williams, Lizze Ruth Perry, Emma Lois Colbert, Rubie Jean Walker, Georgia Walker, Johnny l. Wimbush and Josie L. Wimbush Sampson. She was educated in the public school system Marion County. For many years, she worked for Dent Poultry. Rose was joined in holy matrimony to Sunnie Reynolds.
She is survived by seven children, Annette Reynolds, Ellaville, Georgia, Willie E. Reynolds, Robert L. Reynolds both of Buena Visa, Georgia, Mae F. Lake, Wichita, Kansas, Debra Reynolds, Vanessa Royal (Steven), all of Columbus, Georgia, Letty Reynolds, Ellaville, Georgia; 22 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; five siblings, Wilie Frank Wimbush, Buena Vista, Elem Wimbush, Jr. Willie Ruth Campbell, Linda Hightower, all Buena Vista, Georgia, and Mary Helen Clark (Billy), Ellaville, Georgia.
