Rosalee’s son Damien Tymes is my best friend and my class mate during middle school and high school. I have very fond memories of her when me and Damien used to play Super Nintendo at their condo in Tampa. Rosalee would always get to know her son’s friends and became their friends as well. It’s so true that for Rosalee their was no such thing as a stranger. This a big loss and she will be missed so much.

Hattie Frost and daughter (Salt Lake City,Utah);

Rosalee was my best friend we met in New York in 1968 at American Express, we worked together until my family moved in 1982.

She and her family relocated to Tampa Florida, but we never lost touch of each other; my family and I would visit her and her family in Tampa we would take the kids to Disney World.

She was a sister to me, and I will miss talking to her.

Rosalee was a dear friend. A former Church member and a former co-worker. I received daily text messages from her with encouraging words from the Bible. I'm truly going to miss she always had an encouraging word.

I first met Damien, Rosalee's son, in high school and we have been friends ever since.

I have had the pleasure of knowing Rosalee for all of these years through my friendship with Damien and I have the fondest memories of her. She was always very warm and kind to me whenever I visited their home and was always easy to talk to.

This is no doubt a big loss and the shock will reverberate for quite some time. The impact of this loss has affected me significantly, but I take solace that she is in a better place now and that the memory of her will live on in all of the friends and family that she loved and cared for so much.

You are truly missed.

My beloved sister-in-love has grown into her crown of life! She has passed from death to life! “Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭2:10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

I have known Dr. Damien Tymes, Mrs. Rosalee’s son, for well over a decade since meeting him in 2006/2007 while serving on active duty in the United States Air Force. I had the fortunate pleasure of meeting Damien’s parents at his wedding some many years ago. I was impressed to discover the catalyst for Damien’s outcome as a GOD-fearing, dedicated, strong, ambitious, intelligent, and accomplished African-American man. His parent’s love for and service to GOD, as well as their love for one another, were clear trademarks and characteristics during my brief but memorable encounter with them. It became clear the vessels that GOD had chosen to mold and shape Damien. Damien is solid because Mr. and Mrs. Tymes’ were solid. They were his strongest influence, they were his rock, they were his world.

As Mrs. Rosalee Tymes has transitioned beyond this earthly realm, I pray that Damien, Vertrell, and the entire Tymes family find comfort and peace in knowing that she has reunited with her husband Herman and received GOD’s embrace... “Well done, my good and faithful servant.” (Matt 25:23)

I’m sending prayers of comfort to Damien, Vertell and the loved-ones of Cousin Rosalee. I always looked forward to seeing her at family reunions and other gatherings. She always greeted me with a smile since we met when I moved to Tampa. I believe that she’s resting in a heavenly place, and we will see her again.

Praise God for the beautiful soul of my Sister in Christ who has completed her earthly journey and is now at rest. Soon we will crown Jesus King of kings and Lord of lords. Damien and the rest of her family take comfort in knowing that her faith made her strong enough to finish her earthly tasks. Well done good and faithful servant.

You were always a ray of sunshine when ever we talked. Always had encouraging words or something that made us chuckle. Just know that you left behind some proper human beings and will be missed by many. Your journey is not over though. Through the people you have influenced shall you live on. I'm glad you were a part of our lives and graced us with some of the best people I know....period. Love you.

When I 1st moved to Tampa, Damien was one of the 1st friends I had. Didn't take long before I considered him my brother and Mrs. Tymes (Ma as I always called her) as my extended family. She always took care of me as her other son and never blinked an eye when I need a place to stay. Ma, I will always love you, thank you for taking care of me and showing me that love comes from all around. That same love will continue as I promise to always look out for your baby as you did me, love you always, RIH!!

Sending my condolences to Vertrell, Damien and family. I pray God's peace and strength be with all of you.

Damien, it was through your mom that I learned you and I were serving in the Air Force at same time. She made sure we connected with each other. Soon afterwards, learned we were in same command living in different states (smile). God's grace continue to be with you. ~~Cousin Tracy

Rosalee and I were high school classmates...I thought of her then, and now as a person with a beautiful heart. I think that she is the embodiment of the words reflected in the Aboriginal quote below.
I have experienced the loss of beloved family members, so I know how painful this loss can feel for her family. I extend the deepest condolences to her family, especially her family of procreation. I have always found solace in these words and so i share them with the Brown-Tymes family..
.“We are all visitors to this time, this place.
We are just passing through.
Our purpose here is to observe,
to learn, to grow, to love...
and then we return home.”.
