Robert Andre Walker, age 47, passed on May 17, 2021 at Houston Medical Center, Warner Robins, Georgia.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, May 22, 2021 at Felton Chapel Independent Church Cemetery, GA Hwy 128, Oglethorpe, Georgia.
Please be mindful that we will adhere to all government recommendations and mandates at all services at this time. We are limiting graveside seating to no more than 10 with masks being strongly encouraged. Other masked attendees are welcomed but will be expected to practice social distancing.
Graveside services are likely to be held on ground that is uneven, which is out of the control of Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel, Inc. We ask that you take this into consideration when choosing footwear, such as shoes with high, thin heels. Please be advised that Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel, Inc. will not be held responsible for injuries at a grave site because of this.
Robert Andre Walker was born on July 3, 1973 in Oglethorpe, Georgia to Robert Lewis Walker and the late Clara Jean Warren. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Clara Mae Wells Warren, Roy Warren, Kadessa Harris Walker, George Walker and an uncle Edward Walker. He was educated in the public school system of Macon County and went on to receive his GED and welding training from Job Corps in Simpsonville, Kentucky. Robert was employed as a Truck Driver for many years. He also was a mechanic by trade.
He leaves to cherish his memories to his two children Jasmine Walker and Drevon Walker; his father Robert Lewis Walker (Laverne); nine siblings, Janmichael Walker, Donzell Hudson, Monica Jenkins, Syreta Harris, Maurice Walker (Kendra), TurKassa Granville (Willie), Demetria McDonald, Derrick Oliver, Sabrina Smith Walker; aunts and uncles, Onethia McDonald (Ernest), Jean Coleman, Carylon Walker, George Walker (Shirley), Timothy Walker, John Thomas Walker (Sarah), Michael Walker, Roy Neal Warren (Sheila), Mary Helen Warren, Ann Perryman (Phillip), Henderson Warren (Brenda), Allison Warren (Aretha), Jeanette Warren, Yvonne Hall (Charlie), Wynell Walker; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and his caregiver Gloria Collins.
