Wake services will be held from 5:00-6:00 P.M. on Thursday, September 29, 2022, at Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel, 607 Kaigler Street, Oglethorpe, Georgia.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Friday, September 30, 2022, at Mt. Zion Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, 2435 Mt. Zion Road, Buena Vista, Georgia.
Graveside services, including burials, are likely to be held on ground that is uneven, which is out of the control of Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel, Inc. We ask that you take this into consideration when choosing footwear, such as shoes with high, thin heels. Please be advised that Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel, Inc. will not be held responsible for injuries at a grave site because of this.
Ramona was born December 16, 1964, in Memphis, Tennessee to the late Evy Bratcher Jr. and the late Beatrice Jones Bratcher. She attended and graduated from Westwood High School and job corps acquiring her certificate in Nursing Assistant. Ramona was also a 2010 Culinary Arts graduate of South Georgia Technical College. She was united in holy matrimony in 2004 to Johnny Hamilton. She was a member of New Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Tennessee. After moving to Georgia she later became a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Ellaville, Georgia.
Ramona leaves to cherish her memories to her beloved husband Johnny Hamilton, Ellaville, Georgia; two children Johnny Guinn (Jennifer), Americus, Georgia, Jeremy Hamilton, Ellaville, Georgia; four grandchildren Bryson Guinn, Terrance Hawkins Jr., Ka’ Dasia Rutherford, Ta’Niya Turner; siblings Carteius Wheeler, Virginia Beach, Virginia, Loretha Bratcher, Memphis, Tennessee, Debra Mason (Mark), Evy Bratcher III (Pamela), Michael Bratcher, Memphis, Tennessee, Rico Bracther; sister/brothers-in-law, Margaret Brooks (Donnie), Willie Hamilton (Daphne), Nathaniel Hamilton (Mattie), Shannon Blue (Toby); and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
