
The funeral service will be conducted 1:00 P.M., Sunday, March 18, 2018 at the Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel, Inc., 607 Kaigler Street, Oglethorpe, Georgia. Elder Lee Willis Hall, pastor, From Disgrace to God’s Ministries, Inc., Montezuma, Georgia, will officiate. Burial will follow in the Davis Chapel A.M.E. Church Cemetery, Hwy 26, Oglethorpe, Georgia.
Patricia was born November 22, 1961 in Oglethorpe, Macon County, Georgia to New Ray “NR” Wallace, Sr. and the late Mary Emma Hudson Wallace. She was preceded in death by one brother, New Ray Wallace Jr. She attended D. F. Douglass High School. She later attended the Job Corps of Albany, Georgia.
Patricia was a CNA with High Cotton Homes of Vienna, Georgia. She was a Security Officer with various companies which include Southern Frozen Food, Inc. of Montezuma, Georgia, Walmart of Americus, Georgia, and Tyson Food Inc., Vienna, Georgia. She attended various churches in the community and later became an evangelist.
She leaves to cherish her memories: a loving father, New Ray Wallace, Sr., Oglethorpe, Georgia; siblings, Agnes Wallace, Ellaville, Georgia, Jeffery Wallace, Kansas City, Kansas, Sherri Williams (Ronnie) Maryland, Deborah Mathis (J.D.), Phillip Wallace and Tanya Wallace all of Oglethorpe, Georgia; aunts/uncles, Martha Stewart, Andersonville, Georgia, Betty Ann Ford, Jacksonville, Florida, Joyce Gadson, West Palm Beach, Florida, Todd Wallace, West Palm Beach, Florida, Clara Mae Zanders, New York City, New York, Gloria Meadows (Roosevelt), Ideal, Georgia, Maxine Range (Melvin), Oglethorpe, Georgia, Albert “Billy” Hudson, Oglethorpe, Georgia, Ernestine Hudson Livingston, Ideal, Georgia and Rev. Allen Hudson (Patricia), Albany, Georgia; great aunts, Dorothy Haynes, and Lula Pearl Hudson; sister-in-law, Francis Wallace, Montezuma, Georgia and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
