Hi....Otto was an amazing man. I used to work at Milam's Market in Coconut Grove when I was about 19. Otto was my regular customer. He used to show up and do his groceries and buy me M&M's. (Lol) The store was his 1st stop every day after work. For 20 years I've always wondered what happened to him. Today, I drove by the Grove and decided to look him up when I came across this article. I wanted to say that your dad was very loved. Anytime he came to the store, he always had a big smile no matter what the day threw at him. He was very kind, genuine with kind soft eyes, always a gentleman. I can honestly say, that Otto made a big impact on me just by being one of the kindest souls I've ever met.

My dear Uncle Otto you will truly be missed. Your smile, your love,
our long talks, our friendship. Our hope is to see each other again, soon, as the Bible says @ John 5: 28, 29. May our entire family look forward to the time when we will see all of our dead loved ones again. Kathy
