I am so sorry to hear this news. Officer Little was an on-call police officer at Wesleyan College, but he was so much more. He was a kind and gentle man who gave from his heart. He always had kind words to share and a smile, along with a wonderful laugh, to brighten your day. I know he made my world brighter.

To Jerome's family and friends, hold on to your memories and he will always be with you. I know I will hold a piece of him with me. God bless you all.

To my brother in blue, music, and Christ...knowing you was a blessing. Working beside you at two police agencies was an honor. And to see you again in our Lord's kingdom one day will be joyous. You were one of the few friends I had during my time living in Georgia. Your smile and laugh was infectious and heart was mighty. Rest now my friend. For you to be gone so soon saddens my heart, but knowing we will see each other again lifts my spirit. See you on the other side Jerome.

Man this comes as a shock to me. We was just talking outside the other day. Mr. Little was one of the best neighbors you could ask for. Always looking out for the kids outside play. He will truly be missed. That laugh would echo through out the whole cul de sac. Praying for Monica and the family.

I want to dedicate these words to my favorite cousin ever.

He was a wonderful cousin in my life. From childhood to adulthood where we grew up in the Big Apple New York City. He grew up living his early childhood in New York City. I remember us doing many things together in our childhood. There were many events, family days, and family time with us just loving each other. My Aunt Ann would come uptown to come get us and take us to Alphabet City where they lived. There we had many family outings and shared many family dinners. And boy wasn’t her food so good! Growing up in New York City with my cousin Jerome he was not only a great family man he was also a great a father, a great leader, and a great musician that played many instruments.

I will never forget the time he said “hey Cuz meet me uptown I am doing Amateur Night at the Apollo.” And oh boy you know I was there. He performed at the Apollo Theater and boy we had a good time. We talked about this for many days and many nights. I said Cuz you did great in my eyes. You know that the Harlem crowd is a rough crowd. But we had a good time I was always his greatest support and he was always my greatest support. As he became an adult and decided to move to Georgia we were still very close cousins.

There were many times when he was my protector, supporter, and showed me much love. We knew we was loved by each other. He never cared he stuck with me though the good, bad, and ugly. He was always in my corner no matter what the situation would be.

To Joshua
It is in your DNA that you will become a great leader as well. As I hurt day by day knowing that my cousin will no longer be on this earth with me. But I know his spirit will be in my heart and live on forever and ever in me. And we will keep his memory alive. I will miss his laugher, his kindness, and all his funny gestures. I know all is goodness will be passed down to his son.

So dearest Mona, Joshua, Letricia, Lorriance may his memory live on in your heart and soul forever. Love you guys Cousin Claudell Hicks Smith, Quawan, Chaquan and China.
