Nicholas LaShaun Sanford, 39, passed on January 24, 2020.
The funeral service will be held at 12:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Moody Road, Tazewell, Georgia. Burial will follow in the Church cemetery.
Nicholas LaShaun Sanford was born on October 30, 1980 in Americus, Georgia to the late Betsy Sanford and the late Jimmy Hill. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Ruby and James Sanford, Gladys and James Hill, and his favorite sister-in-law, Sheyanne Peacock. He was educated in the public school Marion County and was a 1999 Tri-County High School graduate. Following high school he attended South Georgia Technical College where he received an Associate Degree. He was a member of Lakeside Assembly in Eastman, Georgia. For over ten years he worked as a log truck driver and was employed with Pine Oak Log Company. He was joined in holy matrimony to Victoria Evans on October 4, 2014.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his devoted wife, Victoria Sanford, Buena Vista, Georgia; six children Tatianna, Ebony, Lamorie, Christina, Sylvia, and Dakota and one bonus child Brantley; two siblings, Donetza Terry, Enterprise, Alabama, Quenyetta Sanford (Shawn Bridges), Preston, Georgia; mother and father-in-law, Peggy and Julius Peacock, Eastman, Georgia; aunts and uncles, Jennifer Mathis (Clyde), Buena Vista, Georgia, Lisa Jackson (Warren), Willis Sandford (Sue), Travis Hill, Eric Hill, Michael Hill of Buena Vista, Georgia, Darron Sanford (Tabitha), Richland, Georgia, Patricia Hill, Ellaville, Georgia, Angie Mathis, Pearl Walton, Horace Hill, Lavon Hill, Tazewell, Georgia; sister/brother-in-law, Ben Evans (Krystina), Eastman, Georgia, Monica Peacock (Katie), Kyle Peacock (Linsey Padgett), all of Eastman, Georgia, Joshua Peacock (Sara), Chester, Georgia, Kourtney Peacock (Dustin Thigpin), Dublin, Georgia, Brooke Peacock (Seth Braswell), Grusston, Georgia; a host of nieces, nephews, cousin, other relatives, and friends including devoted cousins, Marlon Sanford, devoted friends, William Wade, Shaun Morrison, and Jessica Frazier and his numerous truck driver family.
