
Memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, April 4, 2020 at Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel, Inc., 607 Kaigler Street, Oglethorpe, Georgia.
Please also be mindful that we will adhere to all government recommendations and mandates to limit the number of attendees at all services at this time. We are limiting the number of attendees to no more than 10 at the funeral home chapel services and graveside services. We thank you for your understanding and patience during this time.
Nathaniel Clay Jr. was born June 22, 1963 in Dawson, Terrell County, Georgia to Eddie Small Sr. and the late Louise Lowe. He was preceded in death by his brother Eddie Small Jr. He was a 1981 graduate of Terrell County High School. He was follower of the United Holiness Church Headquarters under the guidance of the late founder, Aaron Snipes, Overseer. He was married to Cassandra Denise Hannor Clay to this union they were blessed with three children. He farmed with various farms throughout the Macon, Sumter, and Terrell Counties. He also drove tractor trailers for various companies. Nathaniel enjoyed various sports including football and basketball.
He is survived by his wife Cassandra Clay, Montezuma, Georgia; children, Courtney Lawade Hannor (Arnetia), Florida, Kasey Lawrence Hannor, Japan, and Chelsey Amber Clay, Montezuma, Georgia; three grandchildren Jeremiah Hannor, Azaria Hannor, Tyler Hannor; father Eddie Small, Dawson, Georgia; siblings Jerry Lee Lowe, Dorothy Burke; a host of in-laws, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
