The funeral service will be conducted at 12:00 P.M., Thursday, September 15, 2016 at Ebenezer Baptist Church, Andersonville, Georgia. The Rev. Rodney Duncan will officiate. Burial follow at Andersonville National Cemetery, 496 Cemetery Road, Andersonville, Georgia.
Moses was born September 15, 1962 to Bessie Lee Raines and the late Moses Coleman Sr. in Helena, Arkansas. He was educated in the public school system of Macon County where he was a 1981 graduate. Following graduation he enlisted into the United States Army. After 10 years of dedicated services he retired from Southern Frozen Food as a Tractor Trailer Driver.
He leaves to cherish his memories: two children, Mozelle Melissa Johnson (Daniel), Warner Robins, Georgia, and Allen Coleman, Montezuma, Georgia; grandchildren, Javares Green, Warner Robins, Georgia and Jaiden Coleman, Montezuma, Georgia; mother, Bessie Raines, Oglethorpe, Georgia; seven siblings, Mattie Ann Raines, Cornelius Coleman (Shirley), Barbara Ann Coleman, Lucille Coleman, Rachel Coleman, Lisa Raines, and Kesha Raines, all of Oglethorpe, Georgia; aunts and uncles Ida Pearl McCants, J.W. McCants (Margaret), Aaron McCants (Karen), Mary McCants and Cynthia Banks all of Oglethorpe, Georgia, Willie Lee Coleman, Arthur Coleman, Mikki Coleman and Dorothy Mae Coleman, all of Helena, Arkansas; nieces, Deundra Frederick, Deundra Joiner, Quon'Neisha Raines, Ty'Keisha West; nephews, Carlcess Mallard, Frankie Raines, Quincy Raines, Jeremy Raines, Deon Joiner, Stefan Joiner, Joshua Stewart Jr., Cornelius Coleman, Jr., and Justin Stewart; other relatives and friends including three devoted friends Lee Willie Meadows, Hubert West, and Grady Leary.
