The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, March 31, 2012 at Turkey Creek Baptist Church, Highway 90 East, Lilly, Georgia. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery, Dooling, Georgia.
Mitch was born June 16, 1971 in Dooly County, Georgia to the late Marvin McGhee Sr., and Rosie Clark McGhee. He acquired his education in the public school system of Dooly County. He received his Christian training in the Turkey Creek Baptist Church. He was employed as a farmer with various farms of Dooly County, Domaco Farms, and General Partnership Byromville. He enjoyed playing keyboard and guitar. His favorite song was “I Made It Home.”
Survivors include his mother, Rosie McGhee, Dooling, Georgia; four children, Kamara Hall, La’Paris Hall, Josten McGhee and Mi’Liyah McGhee all of Vienna, Georgia; six siblings, Aaron McGhee (Shawonda), Oglethorpe, Georgia, Bernice McGhee (Andrew) Byromville, Georgia, Jack McGhee (Barbara), Willie McGhee (Kortis), Unadilla, Georgia, Clifford McGhee (Christine) Lilly, Georgia and Marvin McGhee Jr. (Mazelli) Dooling, Georgia; aunts and uncles, Bernice McGhee Binghamton, New York, Louise McGhee, Dorothy McGhee both of Charlotte, North Carolina, Ernie McGhee, Cornelius McGhee (Beulah), Melvin McGhee all of Binghamton, New York, Edward McGhee (Louise) Washington, DC, Jane McGhee, St. Petersburg, Florida, Thelma Smith, Mary Clark, Eloise Clark Dorothy Clark (Abraham) all of Dooling, Georgia, Earl Clark (Myrtice) Vienna, Georgia and Reverend Coley Clark, Jr. (Patricia), Ellaville, Georgia; nieces/ nephews, Markeshia, Tanginika, Khourlea, Malea, Natajah, Jamia, Destiny, Travis, Eddie, Avery, Clifford, Malik, Willie, Jr., Jack, Jr., Eddie Jr., Montrez, and Marvin McGhee, III; a companion, Sonya Hall, Vienna, Georgia; a host of other friends including a devoted cousin, Stacy Rocquemore, St. Petersburg, Florida; a host of friends, including several devoted friends, Johnny Jackson, Brenda Lloyd Burden, both of Byromville, Georgia, Lynn Harvey, Cordele, Georgia, Lonnie Davis, Vienna, Georgia, Lonnie Young, Dooling, Georgia and Travis Davis, Vienna, Georgia.
