Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at New Hope Baptist Church located at GA-26, in Montezuma, Georgia 31063.
Please be mindful that we will adhere to all government recommendations and mandates at all services at this time. We are limiting graveside seating to no more than 10 with masks being strongly encouraged. Other masked attendees are welcomed but will be expected to practice social distancing.
Graveside services are likely to be held on ground that is uneven, which is out of the control of Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel, Inc. We ask that you take this into consideration when choosing footwear, such as shoes with high, thin heels. Please be advised that Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel, Inc. will not be held responsible for injuries at a grave site because of this.
Mrs. Mary Louise Jones was born January 6, 1943 in Montezuma, Georgia to the late James and Magdalene Lloyd. Also preceding her in death were her beloved grandmother Maggie McKenzie, also grandfather Neal McKenzie, loving aunts and uncle Otis Evans, Dot Leary, Georgia Burnam, and Hilda Cooks, one brother Stephen E. Lloyd.
She attended the public school system of Macon County and was a graduate of Macon County Training School. At an early age she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and savior She was joined in holy matrimony to Charlie L Jones and to this union there are six children.
Louise gained her wings on January 18, 2021. Precious memories will forever remain with her loving family which includes her loving and devoted husband of thirty-four years, Charlie L Jones of Montezuma, Georgia; six children: Keith (Mary) Everett of Montezuma, GA, Donna (Anthony) Moses of Philadelphia, PA, Corey McKinney of Mansfield, TX, Dennis (Stacey) Jones of Warner Robins, GA, Jennifer (Dennis) Thompson of Dale City, VA, Charlie (Erica) Jones, Jr. of Warner Robin, Georgia, two brothers James Wilkerson of Newport News, VA and Gary Wilkerson of South Carolina; three beloved aunts, Cora Shelley of Montezuma, Annie (Willie) Collier of Montezuma, GA; Willie Ruth Evans of South Carolina, eighteen grandchildren Anthony Moses Jr., Amber A Moses, Crashonda (Kelly) Stinson, Catresha Everett, Nicole Everett, Jarvis McKinney, Cam’ron McKinney, Corey Mckinney Jr., JaKarri McKinney, Coby Mckinney, Caleb McKinney, Dylan McKinney, Cadence McKinney, and Lailah Jones, seven great grandchildren Deion Xavier Vandress-Moses, Kelvion Stinson, Ke’Asia Stinson, and Kumarion Stinson, Amaya Hattan, Kameria and Alaysha Everett, Tierra Browne, Trevon Brown, one brother-in-law: Tommy Lee (Rose Mary) Jones one sister-in-law Hellen Jones and a host of loving nieces, nephews, devoted relatives and friends.
