Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, July 22, 2020, Oglethorpe City Cemetery, Memorial Drive , Oglethorpe, Georgia.
Please be mindful that we will adhere to all government recommendations and mandates to limit the number of attendees at all services at this time. We are limiting the number of attendees to no more than 10 at the funeral home chapel services and graveside services. We thank you for your understanding and patience during this time.
Maple Lene Butler Woodard was born March 1, 1943, to the late Daisy Mae Harris Butler and the late Jack Butler in Montezuma, Georgia. She was preceded in death by one daughter Penny Butler Timmons, and three brothers Memphis Butler, Alzie Butler, Otis Butler. She was educated in the public school system of Macon County. Maple was joined in holy matrimony to Arthur Lee Woodard. She was a care provider and often opened her home to foster children.
She is leaves to cherish her memories: a loving husband Arthur Lee Woodard, Vienna, Georgia; a son Leon Butler (Brenda), Oglethorpe, Georgia; eight grandchildren, Lafederia Hicks (Antoni), Warner Robins, Georgia, Bryant Butler, Columbus, Georgia; Leondra Hannor, Montezuma, Georgia, Michael G. Timmons, Columbus, Georgia, Camila Hannor, Oglethorpe, Georgia, Quiana Timmons, Warner Robins, Georgia, Marcus West, Florida City, Florida, Leondra West, Warner Robins, Georgia, Boris Pastor, Warner Robins, Georgia; 27 great grandchildren; 13 great great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
