Graveside service will be conducted 11:00 A.M., Saturday, June 27, 2020 at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery, Thomas Mill Road, Plains, Georgia. Bishop James Lundy will officiate.
There will be no public viewing.
Please be mindful that we will adhere to all government recommendations and mandates to limit the number of attendees at all services at this time. We are limiting the number of attendees to no more than 10 at the funeral home chapel services and graveside services. We thank you for your understanding and patience during this time.
Mae Ola Tullis was born March 1, 1932 in Sumter County, Georgia to the late Charlie and Ella White Tullis. She was preceded in death by three children, Robert Tullis, Arthur Louis Tullis, Glenda Windstead; seven siblings, Rev. Johnny Will Lundy, Nettie Clark, Fred Tullis, Bessie Tullis, Amanda Baker, Grover Tullis (Mattie) and Jerry Dean Lundy. She was educated in the public school system of Sumter County. She was a member of Mitchell Grove Baptist Church, where she was a choir member, secretary of the church, and mother of the church. She was great supporter of the church she loved so well. She was married to the late Charles Louis.
Survivors are her children, Lora Wells, Charlie Tullis, Vera Tullis Butler (Chris), Bernice Tullis (Joseph Nelson), Linda King (David K. Allen), Detroit, Michigan, John King, Americus, Georgia; 14 grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren; one sister, Thelma Solomon, Americus, Georgia; a host of nieces, including devoted niece, Catherine Sims, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
