Funeral service will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Saturday, July 1, 2017 at the Ebenezer Baptist Church, Church St., Andersonville, Georgia. The Reverend Rodney Duncan, Pastor of New Home Baptist Church, Buena Vista, Georgia will officiate. Interment will follow in the Lebanon Cemetery, Grangerville Community, Travelers Home Road, Ideal, Georgia.
Lucille Coleman was born April 2, 1967 to Bessie McCant Raines and the late Moses Coleman Sr. in Helena, Arkansas. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Moses Coleman, Jr.. She was a 1985 graduate ofMacon County High School of Montezuma, Georgia. She was employed with Cooper Tire Company of Albany, Georgia and retired after twenty years of dedicated services as a lineman technician. She was also employed with Cargil Hatchery of Oglethorpe, Georgia for ten years. She accepted Christ as her personal Savior and joined the band of Christian at the Ebenezer Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Matthew Raines. She was a dedicated member who exemplified her worth on the Women Missionary Auxillary Board, Ushers Ministry Board and Director of the Youth Department.
She leaves a legacy of love and many fund memories to her beloved mother, Bessie McCant Raines, Oglethorpe, Georgia; six siblings, Mattie Ann Raines, Cornelius (Shirley) Coleman, Barbara Ann Coleman, Rachel Coleman, Lisa Raines and Kesha Raines all of Oglethorpe, Georgia; god-sister, Jennifer Clemmons Davis, Americus, Georgia; aunts and uncles Ida Pearl McCant, J. W. (Margret) McCant, Aaron (Karen) McCant, Mary McCant and Cynthia McCant Banks all of Oglethorpe, Georgia, Willie Lee Coleman, Arthur Coleman, Mikki Coleman and Dorothy Mae Coleman all of Helena, Arkansas; nieces and nephews including a niece she reared as her own Deundra Joiner, Deundra Frederick, Melissa Coleman Johnson (Danny), Carless Mallard (Chastity), Frankie Raines, Quincy Raines,Allen Coleman, Jeremy Raines, Deon Joiner, Stefan Joiner, Joshua Steward, Jr., Cornelius Coleman, Jr., Justin Steward, , and Quon’Neisha Raines, Ty’Keisha West, who were also her two god daughters; a host of beloved relatives and devoted friends which include, Cynthia Haslam and Helen Ivory.
