Lonnie Woolfork, Sr.

Lonnie Woolfork, Sr., age 50, 909 Lakeview Drive, Montezuma, Georgia passed Sunday, October 7, 2012 at Houston Medical Center, Warner Robins, Georgia.

The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Saturday morning, October 13, 2012 at First Salem Baptist Church, Twin Church Road, Montezuma, Georgia. Interment will follow in Champ Waters Cemetery, Montezuma, Georgia.

Lonnie Woolfork, Sr. was born May 12, 1962 to Alonzo Woolfork and Inez Mann Woolfork in Montezuma, Macon County, Georgia. He was educated in the public school system of Macon County. He was a 1980 graduate of D. F. Douglass High School. Lonnie attended South Georgia Technical College where he received some training in welding and business administration. He was a faithful member of First Salem Baptist Church. Lonnie was employed with Allen's Company for more than twenty-five years as a Supervisor. On November 29, 2007, he was united in Holy matrimony to the former Latarcha Cotton.

Left to cherish his memories are a devoted wife, Latarcha Cotton Woolfork, Montezuma, Georgia; his loving children, Lonnie Woolfork, Jr., Rafael Woolfork, DeMarcus Woolfork, Carendez Cotton, Shaneishia Hill, Tiffany Hill, and Jeremy Cotton; granddaughter, Makayla Woolfork; his loving and devoted parents, Alonzo and Inez Mann Woolfork, Montezuma, Georgia; his eleven siblings, Lisa (Arney) Bryant, Vienna, Georgia; Audrey Woolfork, Amillia Woolfork, Michael (Barbara) Felton, Anne Felton, Sharon (Jody) Beal, Darron Felton, Gladys Felton, all of Montezuma, Georgia, Jerome Felton (Trina), Americus, Georgia, Dennis Thomas and Reginald Thomas (Betty), both of Hartford, Connecticut; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert and Dorothy Cotton; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Robert Harris, Reynolds, Georgia, Della Parker, Warner Robins, Georgia, Mattie Kendrick, Montezuma, Georgia, Willie J. Cotton, Hartford, Connecticut, Brock Cotton, Reynolds, Georgia, April Cotton. Montezuma,Georgia, Rodney Cotton, Reynolds, Georgia and Shaveon Cotton, Pompono Beach, Florida; aunts and uncles, James C. Mann (Louella), Earl Mann, Sr., all of Montezuma, Georgia, John Mann, Jr. (Viola), Ervin Mann, Sr. (Pearl), Mae Bertha Jones, all of Riveria Beach, Willie Mann (Cathy), Betty Mann, all of Oglethorpe, Georgia, Jewel Lee Woolfork, Sr., Immokalee, Florida, Roosevelt Woolfork (Yvonne), Orlando, Florida, Earl Woolfork (Mattie Mae), Marie Woolfork, Montezuma, Georgia, Mollie Reid (Robert), Warner Robins, Georgia, Eddie Woolfork (Michelle), Canton, Michigan, and Geneva Carter (Elder James), Ocilla, Georgia, Anna B. Woolfork, and JoAnn Woolfork, both of Montezuma, Georgia; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
