Lonnie Woolfork, Jr., age 36, 78 White Road, Montezuma, Georgia passed Thursday, February 28, 2019 at Lillian Carter Nursing Home, Plains, Georgia.
The funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, March 9, 2019 at New Hope Baptist Church, Montezuma, Georgia. Interment will follow in Champ Waters Cemetery, Montezuma, Georgia.
Lonnie was born on August 29, 1982 to Judy Harvey Woolfork and late Lonnie Woolfork, Sr. in West Palm Beach, Florida. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Hubbert Harvey, Willie Lou Harvey, Alonzo Woolfork and Inez Mann Woolfork. He was educated in the public school system of Macon County. He was a member of First Salem Baptist Church. He was employed with Macon State Prison for nine years as a Correctional Officer II.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his loving mother, Judy H. Woolfork, one daughter, Makayla Woolfork, McDonough, Georgia, two brothers, Rafael Woolfork, Montezuma, Georgia, Demarcus Woolfork, Charleston, South Carolina, aunts and uncles, Vivian Harvey, Lawton, Oklahoma, Lisa (Arney) Bryant, Vienna, Georgia, Audrey Woolfork, Amillia (Eric) Williams, Michael (Barbara) Felton, Anne Felton, Sharon (Jody) Beal, Darron Felton, all of Montezuma, Georgia, Jerome Felton (Trina), Americus, Georgia, Dennis Thomas (Betty) and Reginald Thomas, all of Hartford, Connecticut; He leaves behind a host of great aunts and uncles, cousins and friends
