Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, December 26, 2020 at the Cedar Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Ellaville, Georgia.
Please be mindful that we will adhere to all government recommendations and mandates at all services at this time. We are limiting graveside seating to no more than 10 with masks being strongly encouraged. Other masked attendees are welcomed but will be expected to practice social distancing.
Graveside services are likely to be held on ground that is uneven, which is out of the control of Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel, Inc. We ask that you take this into consideration when choosing footwear, such as shoes with high, thin heels. Please be advised that Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel, Inc. will not be held responsible for injuries at a grave site because of this.
Lavinia Lashaun Baisden was born August 3, 1977 in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Lillie Proctor Range and the late Charles Albert Baisden. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Cora Baisden, and three uncles, Willie Chester, Dennis J. Baisden, Alvin Moses Baisden. She was educated in the public school system of Schley County and was a graduate of Tri County High School Class of 1995. She furthered her education at DeVry University majoring in business billing and coding. At an early age she joined the band of Christian believers at Union Hill A.M.E. Church in Ellaville, Georgia. She worked as a receptionist at Turner Field. Lavinia loved singing and spending time with family and friends.
She leaves to cherish her memories five children, Jamaica Antwanekia Baisden, Christian Bernard Baisden “Bailey”, Ladaren Travon Baisden, Lillian Jasmine Baisden, and Shaun Baisden; three siblings, Janis Proctor, Christopher Proctor, and Claudia Proctor; uncles and aunts, Leon Baisden, Eddie James Baisden, John L. Baisden, Enoch Bernard Baisden, Martha Ann Mathis, Bertha Edwards (Larry), Carol Proctor, Velma Johnson (Jerome), Charles Brown, Ronzo Proctor (Rachel), Eddie Proctor, Walter Proctor Jr., and Nathaniel Proctor (Marie); a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
