Kenneth Mitchell, Sr., age 54, 3536 St. Mary Road Lot D #19, Columbus, Georgia, passed on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at Kindred Hospice, Columbus, Georgia
The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at the Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel, Inc., 607 Kaigler Street, Oglethorpe, Georgia.
Kenneth was born on June 27, 1963 in Deerfield, Lake County, Florida to Christine Mitchell and the late Elzie Mitchell, Sr. He was a graduate of Tri-County High School. Most of his life he was employed with Davis Tire of Montezuma, Georgia as a mechanic. He is preceded in death by a brother, Elzie Mitchell, Jr. He was united in holy matrimony to Mattie Goggin.
He leaves to cherish many fond and loving memories, children, Kenneth Mitchell, Jr., Calvin Mitchell, Bryan Mitchell (Latrice), Brandon Mitchell, all of LaGrange, Georgia, Demetria Journey, Cameron Goggins, Jakryan McCoy, all of Columbus, Georgia; mother, Christine Mitchell of Ellaville, Georgia; siblings, Patricia Williamson (Ray), Charlene Mitchell, both of Ellaville, Georgia, Virginia Brown (Emmitt) of Oglethorpe, Georgia, and Eddie Lewis Mitchell, Sr. (Lillian) of Americus, Georgia; grandchildren, Kayden Mitchell, Caydriona Mitchell, Caleb Mitchell, Cameron Mitchell, Bryanna Mitchell, Makailah Mitchell, Braydon Mitchell, Brandy Mitchell, Brayleigh Mitchell, Adrian Mitchell, and Jordan Mitchell; aunts/uncles, Mary Alice Miller of Ellaville, Georgia, Verdie Fulks, Bobby Fulks (Arretta) of Ideal, Georgia, Willie James Fulks (Essie) of Ellaville, Georiga, and Milton Mitchell (Helen) of Buena Vista, Georgia.
