Mrs. Katherine Dunn, age 77, 233 Travelers Rest Road, Montezuma, Georgia passed June 2, 2012 at her home.

The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, June 9, 2012 at Jehovah Baptist Church, 201 Chatham Street, Oglethorpe, Georgia. Interment will follow in New Phillip Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Georgia Highway 224 Montezuma, Georgia.

Katherine was born July 16, 1934 in Montezuma, Macon County, Georgia to the late Joe B. Moore, Sr. and Clara Ree Edward Jones. She was married to Henry Dunn. She was blessed to be the mother of six children. Two children preceded her in death, Lula Jolly and Edward Jolly. Katherine was also preceded in death by three siblings, Joe B. Moore, Jr., Archie Moore and Ben Miller. She was a member of Montezuma Church of Christ. After many dedicated years of service, she retired as a homemaker.

Survivors are her husband, Henry Dunn, Montezuma, Georgia; children, Willie B. Moore, Macon Georgia, Nathaniel Moore (Ladenia), Warner Robins, Georgia, Milton Jolly, Montezuma, Georgia, Vera Jolly Long Macon, Georgia: Sixteen grandchildren, four of whom she reared after the death of her daughter, Lula; Benjamin Jolly, Katina Brown (Marcus), Trent Jolly (Rashawn), and Abatha Jolly; a host of great grandchildren; siblings, Beulah Williams (Steven), Atlanta, Georgia, John H. Moore (Ernestine), Montezuma, Georgia, Eddie Lee Moore, Athens, Georgia, Roosevelt Moore (Elois), Montezuma, Georgia, Dorothy Trice (George), Montezuma, Georgia; uncle, Milton Miller, Chicago, Illinois; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Armie Dunn (Arlena) Oglethorpe, Georgia, Virginia Mitchell, Oglethorpe, Georgia, Alvin Dunn, Montezuma, Georgia, Otto Mann, Montezuma, Georgia, Genora Dunn, Montezuma, Georgia, Vernell McBride, Ft. Pierce, Florida, Jannie Daniel, Montezuma, Georgia and Annie Moore, Ideal, Georgia; and a host of beloved nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
