Our beloved Karsyn Eli Pough was born at 9:38 A.M. on April 9, 2020 at Piedmont Hospital in Columbus GA to Marc Anthony Whatley and La’Tora Breshae Pough.
From the moment that Karsyn took his first breath, it was clear that he was indeed a special soul; therefore, it no wonder God wanted him back so soon. After a short stay of 57days with us, on June 5, 2020 Karsyn took his last breath and began his journey to be with God.
Being such a small, handsome baby, Karsyn stole the heart of every adult in his life. His first talent was smiling and making all those around him do the same. The unique sounds Karsyn made were like pleasant chimes from heaven. “A precious one from us is gone, a voice we love is still, a place is vacant in our hearts that can never more be filled.”
Karsyn was preceded in death by two great grandmothers: Mattie Pew and Tandra Whatley; two great grandfathers: Author Drain and Lee Alton Lyles, one great uncle Ronnie Thomas and a God-brother Aiden Daniel.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his mother, La’Tora Pough of Buena Vista, GA; his father, Marc Whatley of Columbus, GA; three brothers and two sisters: Marc Whatley, Jr. of Columbus, GA; Markel and AnthonyMaurice of Opelika, AL; Shakeidra and Taliya Whatley of Columbus, GA.; Two grandfathers: Leonard Pough of Buena Vista, GA and Kreskin Smith of Opelika, AL; Two grandmothers: Ann Pough of Ellaville, GA and Jacqueline McCaskill of Columbus GA; A great-grandmother: Rosa Feagins (Ricky) of Ellaville, GA; six aunts: Takedriah Storey (Cornelius) of Buena Vista, GA, Shaundreika Storey of Hinesville, GA, Le’Ann Lyles of Dothan, AL, Ieshia Green (Raven) of Ellaville, GA, Jessica Portis of Columbus, GA and Ke’Undra Smith of Opelika, AL.
