Graveside services for Karen Denise Wiggins will be held at 10:30 A.M., Saturday, May 16, 2020 at Freeman Hill Cemetery, Freeman Hill Road, Andersonville, Georgia.

Please be mindful that we will adhere to all government recommendations and mandates to limit the number of attendees at all services at this time. We are limiting the number of attendees to no more than 10 at the funeral home chapel services and graveside services. We thank you for your understanding and patience during this time.

Karen Denise Wiggins transitioned to her eternal home on April 22, 2020. Karen was born on March 15, 1960 to the late Virginia English Norman and Cornelius Smith, in Jacksonville, FL. She was known to her family and friends as Denise, or “Niecy.”

Denise graduated from Boys and Girls High School in 1978; shortly after graduating high school, Denise attended college for a year and half and worked at Macys. She also worked as a Security Guard for NYC housing authority, and later working as a Home Health Aide. Denise had a passion for music and dancing, and she enjoyed helping the children in our family with school work. She was always concerned of the well-being of her family and friends.

Denise was known to be the life of the party, no matter what the occasion. She would light up the dance floor with her dancing moves, and beautiful voice, she was known by her friends as the Diva of the dance floor. Denise kept the family connected by reminding us of birthdays, anniversaries, or just a simple doing well notice. She brings a smile or laughter to everyone she come in contact with by singing, dancing, joking or just showing them unconditional love.

Denise was a God-fearing woman, and she loved the Lord with all her heart. She knows the bible from front to back, and she had very strong faith. Denise was preceded in death by her uncle, Alfred English, Sr. and her brother, Kenneth Tyrone Wiggins, Sr. She is survived by her three brothers, Gregory “La” Wiggins (Karen), Cedric Wiggins (Swayzine), John “Bo” Norman and her sister Shirley Mitchell. Denise leaves a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins as well as friends.

Niecey, you were more than a cousin to me you were more like that big sister I always wanted. There is an emptiness I'm feeling now that you're gone but i will always keep your unending optimism that you always had no matter what you were facing. I hope you're dancing and singing in heaven. I love you dearly and miss you terribly but I know you're in a better place with Aunt Virginia and Kenneth. Rest in paradise.

Sending condolences, love and prayers to the family. The bible gives us hope and comfort at Revolutions 21 versus 4. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more. Neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. Rest in sleep Niecy!

The one thing I loved about you the most you always taught me that God will pave the way ...hmmm, I thank you so much for teaching to understand what I know now to be so true. Thank you for being a sister, friend, teacher, and family to me throughout the years. I will love you dearly and miss you terribly. Rest on dear Niecy rest on....

I cannot believe I did not know before this, that is why no one should take for granted you will talk with one another, and then you are gone. I miss you so much and our phones calls and talking about the Bible. Friends from Public School to the end. I will always remember you and love you.
