Kaitlyn Dihannah Fudge was born April 17, 1998, at Athens Regional Medical Center in Athens, GA. She was eight years old when she accepted Christ into her life and was baptized at Wildwood Baptist Church in Acworth, GA. When she was ten years old, she was diagnosed with Lupus. Even though many adjustments had to be made, she refused to let it slow her down. She was a talented artist who loved music, collecting Squish mallows, and cuddling with our pet cat, Bovie. She was the world to her siblings! She played the clarinet in school, as well as for her church. She marched in her high school marching band (North Cobb High School) until she graduated in 2016. She also marched in her college marching band (Shorter University). While at Shorter, she joined ADPi Sorority and she was inducted into the Pi Gamma Mu Honor Society. She graduated Cum Laude from Shorter University with a degree in Psychology with a minor in Spanish in 2020. She always felt she had a calling to work with the elderly population, so she began pursuing her MSW at Georgia State University. She recently chose to transfer to Kennesaw State University to finish her degree. She passed away at Kennestone Regional Medical Center in Marietta, GA one week after falling ill due to complications of aneurysms and Lupus.
She is survived by her loving parents, Tracy and Elaine Fudge, her doting siblings, William and Ellyana, her adoring grandmother Dorothy Fudge, her devoted uncles and aunts, Will Rogers, Lewis Rogers, Mary Rogers, Nicholas Fudge, Vivian (Emmitt) Lawson, JoAnn Murray, Janice (Donald) Cottle, Delois Rogers, Dianne Minter, Virginia Rogers, Barbara Haynes, Stella McCarter, Steve Rogers, Michael Rogers, Sr., Turner (Sandra) Rogers, Luenell Wilson, Laura (Joe) Smith, Ida (Tommy) Brown, Mary Smith, Myrlyn Ellison, and a host of family members and friends.
