
The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at the Felton Chapel Independent Church, GA Hwy 128, Oglethorpe, Macon County, Georgia, Reverend Keith Gibbons, pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow in the Mount Pleasant C.M.E. Church Cemetery, Whiteline Street, Montezuma, Georgia. A repast will follow in the Preston Williams Family Center, Carl Peaster Blvd, Montezuma, Georgia.
Joyce was born November 3, 1956 to the late A.C. Walker and the late Lula Mae McKellar Walker in Oglethorpe, Macon County, Georgia. She was preceded in death by three siblings, Betty Walker Fulks, Wynell “Candy” Walker and Jack Walker. She acquired her education in the public school system of Macon County. She was a member of the Felton Chapel Independent Church. She was united in holy matrimony to Howard Felton Sr. in 1978 and to this union they were blessed with four children. One son, Howard Felton, Jr., preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her father and mother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. David and Annita Felton.
Survivors are a beloved husband of forty years, Howard Felton, Sr., Montezuma, Georgia; five children, Kimberly Walker (Kerry WIlliamson) Montezuma, Georgia, Howanda Felton (Kenneth Collins) Montezuma, Georgia, Jennifer Felton, Montezuma, Georgia, Shanita Felton Turner, and Felecia Felton (Lamar Robinson) Montezuma, Georgia; sixteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren; ten siblings, Robert Walker, Minnie Walker, Arthur Frank Walker (Sandra), J. B. Walker (Sharon), all of Atlanta, Georgia, Annie Mae Walker Hill (Robert Lee), Mae “Peggy” Walker, Mary Florence Walker Hillmon, Charlie Walker, Larry Walker, all of Oglethorpe, Georgia, and Alice Nell Walker Green (Carl, Sr.) Montezuma, Georgia; stepsister, Estella Johnson, Oglethorpe, Georgia; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Charlie Clyde Wilson, Harry Truman Wilson, David Edward Felton, Jr., Williams Felton (Elnora), Olivia Felton Hubbard (James), and Patricia “Patsy Ann” McClendon (Keith); and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and loving friends.
