My condolences in the loss of your loved one. When our loved ones fall asleep in death, the pain of grief seems unbearable. Our loving God Jehovah understands how we feel and he comforts us by means of his word the Bible. Hosea 13:14 says: From the power of the grave I will redeem them. From death I will recover them. The scripture at Psalm 147:3 is also very comforting; He (God) heals the brokenhearted; He binds up their wounds. May you be strengthen and encourage by God's word in the days and weeks ahead.

I am so sorry for the loss of your dear Father. Please trust in Jehovah the God of all tender mercies to comfort you now during your time of sorrow because he cares for you. For the Bible says:" We have a hope toward God that we look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous" Acts 24:15. This means the dead will live again. They will be restored to life and reunited with their family and friends right here on the earth. Jehovah has given us his guarantee by resurrecting his own son Jesus Christ from the dead Acts 17:31. Just like death brings pain, The resurrection will bring us unending joy and happiness when we see our dear loved ones again.
May these scriptures and your loving memories of your Dad comfort you during this difficult time.
