Praying for all the family. James was certainly a very gifted man. He was an inspiration to me and to many others as he played and sang. His original songs were especially touching! Too early, James, you exited much too early! Rest In Peace dear brother.

Brother, you will be missed. God gives and he takes away. Rest in peace. My only bad feeling is that I didn't talk to you Sunday when you were leaving church. Wait for me at Jesus feet

My heart goes out to the Hillman family. James was a classmate and friend of mine. He would always try to be serious, but it wouldn't last long. He would soon start smiling and then laughing which made everyone around him laugh. I will miss him. RIP James.

Fly home, my dear brother. I will forever cherish the many times we got to play and sing and make music for the Lord together at the Anchorage. Your bright soul and love for music were such an inspiration to me. I’ll join you in the heavenly band & choir someday soon. Until then, I’m gonna “labor unto glory.” Love you, brother James.

James was the baby boy, and after his brother, Johnnie C and family moved to Florida, we saw very little of James. However, on my visit back home, I heard about James and his gift to sang. Sadly, I never heard him sing in person.
Love you Shirley Sue, Eddie, and the rest. R.I.P. James

Our hearts goes out to family, signed, Charlie MAE, Mancy, and Neet.

We've known each other many decades. I've been in the dark about your passing, my sweet friend. God has chosen you to come home and sing with his angels. Fond memories that remain, include those of my youth and you as a adopted family member to us all. I'll see you there buddy.
