Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Sunday, April 19, 2020 at Champ Waters Cemetery, 191 Twin Church Road, Montezuma, Georgia.
Please also be mindful that we will adhere to all government recommendations and mandates to limit the number of attendees at all services at this time. We are limiting the number of attendees to no more than 10 at the funeral home chapel services and graveside services. We thank you for your understanding and patience during this time.
Jacquelyn was born in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Roosevelt Fulks Sr. and the late Verna Joiner-Fulks. She was reared by her grandparents the late Troy and Louise Fulks in Garden Valley, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her son Garrett A. Roberts, sister Geraldine Manson and a brother-in-law Phillip Journey. At an early age she accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior. She was a faithful member of Mt. Pleasant/Traveler’s Rest C.M.E. Church where she enjoyed singing in the church choir. Jacquelyn also was loyal attendee at Christian Life Church in Montezuma, Georgia. She was educated in the public school system of Macon and Fulton Counties. In 1977, she graduated from Frederick Douglas High School in Atlanta, Georgia. She furthered her education at Rutledge College where she was received a diploma as a Medical Assistant.
Jacquelyn enjoyed reading, gardening, singing, walking, exercising, tutoring kids, and spending time with her family.
On July 18, 1985 two hearts became one Jacquelyn and Garry Roberts were joined in holy matrimony.
She leaves to cherish her memory a loving and devoted husband Garry Roberts, Montezuma, Georgia, a beloved only child Janeseia T. Roberts, Montezuma Georgia; ten siblings: Charles Joiner, Atlanta, Georgia, Gary McCrary (Regina) Powder Springs, Georgia, Rosa Mae Fulks, Roosevelt Fulks Jr, both of Atlanta, Georgia, Wanda Hutchens, Powder Springs, Ga, David Fulks, Troy Lee Fulks, Yolanda Fulks , Diane Williams (Prince), all of Atlanta, Georgia and Betty Mae Harris Oglethorpe, Georgia; aunts/uncles: Mozelle Hubbard, Gladolia Slaton, Louvenia Coleman, all of Atlanta, Georgia, Morris Joiner (Claudette), Chicago, Illinois, Kacy Joiner, Matilda Joiner, both of Atlanta, Georgia, Florence Gouch, Garden Valley, Georgia, Troy Folks, Jr. (Minnie) , West Palm Beach, Florida, Walter Fulks, Atlanta, Georgia, Ernestine Fulks, Garden Valley, Georgia, Bennie Fulks (Sandra), Atlanta, Ga, and Harvey Fulks (Carolyn), Montezuma, Georgia; brothers and sisters-in-law: Willie F.
