Henry Lee Blue, age 92, passed on January 29, 2017 in Rochester, New York.
A wake service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, February 11, 2017 with the funeral service following immediately afterwards at 11:00 A.M. at St. James C.M.E. Church, 215 Railroad Street, Marshallville, Georgia, where the Reverend Miracle Bass is pastor. Reverend Preston King, pastor of Bethel Baptist Church, Marshallville, Georgia, will officiate. Interment will follow Willow Lake Memorial Cemetery, Fort Valley, Georgia .
Predeceased by his beloved wife, Maggie P. Blue, children, John Henry Blue, Delores Smith, Bernice B. Smith. Survived by children, Henry Lewis (Ann), Blue, Bernard Blue, and Deborah Elaine (LeRoy) Quick, 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
