Henry was born April 8, 1945, to the late Leroy Harris, Sr. and Thelma Nash Harris in Schley County, Georgia. He was preceded in death by Mozelle H. Clemons, Joe Lewis Harris, and Irene Aldridge (Waymon). Henry B., BB, Rabbit, and Yoke as he was sometimes called by family and friends, was a very humble man. Henry B. never met a stranger. He always wore a smile. He was a very neat guy; he kept the yards just as he kept himself clean and always in order. He was educated in the public school systems of Schley County.
Growing up in a Christian home he learned that serving the Lord was a must. He was a member of William Grove Baptist Church in Ellaville where he served in the Men Ministry. In 2014 he was nominated as member of the year. He loved his Pastor, church family, and his many friends. He had a special love for his 49 line crew family and friends.
He leaves to cherish his memories to his siblings, Betty Kleckley (Marshall), Atlanta, Georgia, Leroy Harris, Jr. (Martha), Helen Higgins (Nathaniel), Alice Glaze, Decatur, Georgia, and Vielene McHomes all of Andersonville, Georgia; brother-in-law William Clemons; a host of beloved nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
