What I know for sure about Frederick is that he loved God and his family, children and grandchildren. Only God knows when and how our earthly journey will end, and Frederick’s passing is yet another reminder for us to live to be who God says we are “wonderfully and fearfully made”. RIP my old friend. I hope to see you again on the high side of Heaven.

I am going to miss you my BIG brother. I worked with Big Blue for years at Emory. It really hurts bad I can't be there. Blue was a REAL CHRISTIAN MAN. HE would give you the shirt off his back. Even though it would cover my WHOLE BODY LOL. He was a big man but the biggest thing was his HEART. He gave me unlimited knowledge of our craft, brotherly love, guidance, humor, counseling, and ALWAYS FRIENDSHIP. I will miss him SOOOOO MUCH. I MISS YOU BROTHER YOU'RE WITH OUR FATHER NOW RIP. Before I leave I have to comment on HIS HEAVENLY LAUGH WOULD BRIGHTEN UP MY LIFE. I was really going through tough times and BIG BLUE ALWAYS MADE ME FEEL BETTER.LOVE YOU BROTHER MY HEART IS HURTING.

“Blue” was a good friend of mine from the USS Luce DDG 38. We lost touch after a few years of me leaving active navy service. I will always remember him as a true friend with a great laugh and sense of humor. I finally found you and you are gone. He was my big brother and I miss will always miss his friendship.
