The funeral service will held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, December 7, 2019 at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 1908 Dozier Road, Ellaville, Georgia. Burial will follow in the Church cemetery.
Felix Williamson, Jr. was born into a loving Christian home on October 21, 1947 in Ellaville, Schley County, Georgia to the parentage of the late Felix Williamson, Sr. and the late Mary Lee Melvin Williamson. He was preceded in death by five siblings, Cora Dell Williamson Black, Robert “B” Williamson, Willie James Williamson, James Edward Williamson and Lola Simmons. He was a 1965 graduate of John Lewis High School of Ellaville, Georgia. At an early age he joined the Ebenezer Baptist Church along with his peers. Felix’s heart was captured by the beauty and charm of his one and only love, Minnie Mountain. They were united in holy matrimony for thirty-eight wonderful years until his demise Sunday, December 1, 2019 at home surrounded by loved ones. After uniting with Minnie, he attended Oak Grove Baptist Church. He was blessed to be the father of two lovely daughters, Kimberly and Mikki. After many years of dedicated services he retired Superintendent of the Road and Maintenance Department of Ellaville, Georgia. He was an outdoorsman at heart. After retirement, his favorite hobby was to keep his lawn beautifully manicured.
Survivors include a loving and devoted wife of thirty-eight years, Minnie Mountain Williamson, Ellaville, Georgia; two daughters and two sons-in-law, Kimberly Williamson Underwood (Shaun), Hendersonville, Tennessee and Mikka Williamson Glekiah (George), Hiram, Georgia; four grandchildren, Kali Green, Layla, and Kaiden Underwood, all of Hendersonville, Tennessee and Giselle Glekiah, Hiram, Georgia; eight siblings and spouses, Mary Lizzie Beavers, Ellaville, Georgia, Willie Arthur Williamson (Rose) Pine Town, North Carolina, Christine Williamson Stewart, Ellaville, Georgia, Eugene Williamson (Eddie Mae), Oglethorpe, Georgia, Josephine Williamson Mercer, (Samuel, Americus, Georgia Annie Mildred Williamson, Atlanta, Georgia, Annie Pearl Williamson Smith (Paul), Phoenix City, Alabama, Mary Francis Williamson Hayes, Americus, Georgia; brothers-in-law/sisters-in-law include Mack Mountain (Christine), Macon, Georgia, Jimmie Mountain (Karen), Swainboro, Georgia, Willie Pearl Mountain Williams, Baltimore, Maryland, Ann Harris, Milledgeville, Georgia, Catherine Grant (Rudy) Sanderville, Georgia, Joe Lewis Mountain, Colorado City, Colorado, and Ella Pearl Williamson, Ellaville, Georgia; and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends including devoted neighbors Deacon Charlie Stewart III (Cara), and Mrs. Emma Minter and his faithful pet, Lucky Williamson.
