COMMENTS
The family has my deepest sympathy. "Weeping comes during the night, but joy comes in the morning"

Words can not express how shocked and sadden we were by Aunt Sook's passing. She was a very beautiful person who loved dearly and always made us feel welcome in her presence. Growing up, we spent many nights and weekends in her home visiting with her, Uncle K.C., Uncle Carl, Ted and Aunt Lula. She was caring, giving, and had a great sense of humor. She will be missed dearly and will forever live in our hearts.

With Sincere Love,
Mary Parker and Grandchildren

It was about 1966-1968 that I worked at the Dixie Queen as a waitress. I remember Sook. It was a time of great inequality and slow but sure change. I hope her life benefitted in some ways from the changes going on around us back then. I was so very young and scared, but I knew a lot of things were not right.
