Mr. Edward Daniels, age 63, 232 Robin Circle, Marshallville, Georgia passed Saturday, September 13, 2014 at his home.
The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Saturday morning, September 20, 2014 at Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel, Inc., 607 Kaigler Street, Oglethorpe, Georgia. The Reverend Billy Heard, pastor of Saint James C.M.E. Church, will officiate.
Mr. Edward Daniels was born February 17, 1951 to the late Minnie Lloyd Daniels and J. B. Daniels in Macon County, Georgia. He was the grandson of the late Gene Lloyd, Mary Lizzie Lloyd and Annie Daniels. His sister-in-law, Jacqueline Jones, preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Etherine Cosby. He was the widower of the late Joyce Laverne Cosby Daniels.
Edward was a 1969 graduate of D. F. Douglass High School and a dedicated member of the historic New Pond Baptist Church. He was the proud father of three children, Edward Marquis Daniels (Shaun), Albany, Georgia, Jace Jerod Daniels and Sherena Daniels, both of Marshallville, Georgia; eight loving grandchildren, Nikeylon, Nick, Jr., Jaiden, Jiselyn, Autumn, Alauna, Alacya, and Zion; three siblings, Annie Kate Davis (John), Decatur, Georgia, Earlean Jones (Stephen), Tampa, Florida, and Dennis Daniels, Oglethorpe, Georgia; nieces and nephews, Mack, Tisa, Shondanette, Broderick, and China; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Joseph Cosby (Dorothy), Atlanta, Georgia, Levi Cosby (Pearl), Galveston, Texas, Amelia Sarah Cosby, Atlanta, Georgia and Alice Wolmack, Warner Robins, Georgia; a host of other relatives, including two devoted cousins, Rufus Harmon (Mary), Macon, Georgia; and a host of friends.
